Ducati Registers Record Global Sales in the First Quarter of 2023

Italy sold the most bikes; Multistrada V4 was the highest-selling model of the Ducati.

In the first Quarter of 2023, data was released by Ducati on the number of motorcycles sold. Ducati made record sales in the first Quarter of 2023, delivering 14,725 motorcycles worldwide. A growth of 9% in sales compared to the same Quarter of 2022.

Growth of Sales in Different Countries

In the first quarter of this year, Ducati saw the largest sales in its home market of Italy, with 2,717 motorcycles delivered. Furthermore, it shows a growth of 7% compared to the first quarter sales in the previous year. 

The United States, being the second-largest market for Ducati, witnessed a 21% increase in deliveries with 1,677 bikes. Germany, ranking third, also experienced a growth of 21%, with 1,666 motorcycles delivered in the same period as last year.

Units Delivered So Far!

During the first quarter of 2023, Ducati's Multistrada V4 proved to be their most successful motorcycle, with 2,668 units delivered globally across all versions. The next best-seller was the Monster, with 2,005 motorcycles delivered, followed by the DesertX, with 1,442 deliveries. The triumph of DesertX validates Ducati's approach to diversifying its product offerings and venturing into new markets.

According to Ducati CEO, “After closing our best year in 2022, we began 2023 with powerful results that confirm our company's strategy that is giving greater outcomes. The company is also planning to open 55 new dealers worldwide this year. The recently launched Monster SP is priced at Rs. 15.95 Lakh Ex-showroom in India. Monster SP is one of the 9 bikes Ducati plans to launch this year.”
