The famous worldwide brand Ducati has unveiled its two new limited edition bikes, Panigale V4 superbikes with the liveries of the 2022 WSBK World Championship and MotoGP edition dedicated to the two winners, Alvaro Bautista and Francesco Bagnaia.
The design of the bikes is based on the Ducati Panigale V4 model but is limited to 260 units in each livery and features a host of performance-enhancing components. Limited edition bikes get Stylema R callipers and carbon fibre parts. STM-EVO SBK dry clutch and Akrapovic exhaust system designed for use on public roads. Each bike will have the appropriate rider's signature and certificate of authenticity.
Ducati won the MotoGP and WSBK World Championships with riders Francesco Bagnaia and Alvaro Bautista, respectively. To commemorate this, Ducati announced a limited World championship edition Ducati Panigale V4 superbike based on the V4 models, divided into two batches of 260 units, each dedicated to a respective rider. Each bike will come with a matching rider signature as well as a Certificate of Authenticity.
In addition to the cosmetic changes, the bike also features Brembo Stylema R callipers that can only be found on the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2. An STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, carbon fibre parts such as front and rear fenders and brake cooling ducts, legal for use on the road. An Akrapovic overhead exhaust, as well as Rizoma fully adjustable billet aluminium footpegs. The single swingarm on these bikes has a carbon fibre cover with bits of titanium etched into it. In addition, bikes in the livery of WSBK champion Alvaro Bautista will have a brushed aluminium fuel tank.
At this point, it is unclear if any of these bikes will make it to India.
In just a few hours, the Ducati Panigale V4 Bagnaia 2022 World Champion Replica and the Ducati Panigale V4 Bautista 2022 World Champion Replica, which was limited to double 260 units, have all been awarded. The ceremony took place on the day of Campioni in Piazza². This is the event where these bikes were unveiled. Ducati celebrated this ceremony for its historic dual Success in MotoGP and WSBK 2022.
The bikes were unveiled at a press conference by Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali, along with Pecco Banagia and Alvaro Bautista. It was celebrated by Ducati on its Success because there were many Ducatists who wanted to add both Ducati Panigale V4 World Champion Replicas to their collection. It took very little time to completely sell out the available copies of the limited edition.

At a time when our brand is just as strong and looking to the future, we also wanted to pay homage to our history by reminding us with both copies of the founding of Ducati, which dates back to 1926."
Two special editions based on the Ducati Panigale V4 S are featured in the Francesco Bagnaia #63 and Álvaro Bautista #19 motorcycle liveries. Each model in this series will be signed by the tank racer, and then the signature will be protected with a clear coat. Both motorcycles are produced in a limited numbered series of 260 pieces, timed to coincide with the 1926 birth of the Ducati.
The 2022 Ducati Panigale V4 world champion replica is only offered in a single-seat configuration, complete with model name, serial number and race number laser-etched on the top clip. The technical equipment is completed by such components as a dry clutch, a road-legal Akrapovic muffler, Brembo Stylema R callipers with MCS pump, Rizoma adjustable aluminium alloy footpegs and racing plexiglass. There are several carbon fibre components: a heat shield for the rear exhaust manifolds, an alternator cover, front and rear mudguards, brake manifolds, and a cover protecting the single-sided swingarm. The series dedicated to Alvaro Bautista No. 19 has a brushed aluminium tank, as on more complex versions of the Ducati Panigale V4.
Those who want to use the performance of these two bikes on the track can opt for optional accessories included in the package, such as an exposed carbon fibre clutch cover, licence plate holder and mirror removal kits, and an aluminium alloy racing fuel cap. Each bike will come in a custom graphic package and will come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
