Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Appears on Indian Website, Launch Anticipated

Ducati India has unveiled the Multistrada V4 RS on its website, announcing its release. The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is a more powerful version of the adventure tourer, designed to deliver track-like performance rather than off-road capability. It shares a V4 engine with the Panigale V4, giving the motorcycle incredible power.

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Engine Specifications

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS is powered by a 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, which produces an impressive 177 bhp at 12,250 rpm and 118 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm. This makes the Multi V4 RS the most powerful motorcycle in its class. Moreover, by comparison, the standard Multistrada V4 with the GranTurismo engine produces 170 bhp. Additionally, the RS version features an Akrapovich exhaust and many other improvements.

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Lightweight Components

Ducati has introduced more lightweight features in the Multistrada V4 RS, making it 3 kilograms lighter than the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. The bike features 17-inch Marchesini forged aluminium wheels and a titanium subframe, which is 2.5 kg lighter than other Multistrada models. Besides, the tail section has been redesigned to eliminate the pillion grab handle and top box mounting bracket.

Suspension duties are provided by a new 48mm diaphragm coated in titanium nitride (TiN). Brembo Stylma Monoblock four-piston callipers mounted radially at the front, paired with 330mm wheels, provide the brakes. At the rear, there is a Brembo dual-piston floating calliper with 265 mm disc brakes. The sporty model also offers adjustable seat height, from 840mm to 860mm.

Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Electronics

In terms of electronics, the Multistrada V4 RS offers four modes: Full, High, Medium, and Low. It has traction control, wheel control, engine brake control, four ride modes and full power mode for maximum performance. In this segment, the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS will compete mainly with the BMW M 1000 XR, which costs around 3 million (ex-showroom).
