Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono launched in India: Priced at Rs. 16.50 lakh

Ducati has launched the Hypermotard 698 Mono in India for Rs 16.50 lakh. This bike is Ducati's first single-cylinder motorcycle in over 30 years. Bookings are now open, and deliveries will start by the end of July 2024. The price is higher than expected and is Rs 50,000 more than the Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE.

This Ducati bike will be imported from Italy and Thailand but does not get Free Trade Agreement benefits because its engine is under 800cc. The Hypermotard 698 Mono is available in a single Ducati red colour and will be sold as a completely built unit.

It features a tubular steel trellis frame with a fully adjustable 45mm Marzocchi inverted fork in the front and a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock at the rear. The bike has 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.
