The 2023 DesertX has been launched by Ducati abroad. Here is what we know about it, which includes a few new improvements above the baseline model.
The first and very prominent change is the new livery for the RR22. It is entirely black, silver, and red and covers the entire bike. Overall, the DesertX has a higher aesthetic appeal thanks to the RR22 livery. Turn-by-turn navigation is another improvement to the Italian ADV. It is based on the popular Ducati Multimedia System and shows all the necessary information on the bike’s dash. The Diavel V4 will eventually include the same technology.
A 937 cc Desmodromic Testastretta engine that generates 110 bhp and 92 Nm powers the DesertX. It is connected to a 6-speed transmission with a bi-directional quick-shifter. Additionally, this bike has a variety of rider aids, including traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, cruise control, and cornering ABS. An array of extras, such as the navigation as mentioned above system and an additional gasoline tank, are available in the accessory catalogue.
In India, the Ducati DesertX began to be delivered in January. This stunning bike costs Rs 17.91 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), and we anticipate that India will soon offer the latest cosmetic and feature update. It will compete in the market against the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally, Honda Africa Twin, and BMW F850 GS.
