BMW electric scooter, CE 04, is set to be launched in India on July 24, 2024. Known for its futuristic design and development features, CE 04 has a 31 kW motor that can accelerate from 0-50 km/h in just 2.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 120 km/h. The scooter also features three ride modes, traction control, ABS and a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. Charging options include a regular charger for 4 hours and 20 minutes and an optional fast charger that reduces this to 1 hour and 40 minutes. The CE 04 is expected to be priced significantly higher than the C 400 GT at Rs 11.20 lakh (ex-showroom).


BMW has sent out an official invite for the launch of the CE 04 electric scooter. The CE 04 is mated to an 8.9kWh battery and claims a range of 130km. 


Futuristic Electric Scooter with 31 kW Power, Fast Charging, and Advanced Features

Its motor produces a maximum output of 31 kW, enabling the scooter to accelerate from 0-50 km/h in a claimed 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 120 km/h. BMW says the scooter will charge in 4 hours and 20 minutes with a regular charger, or It can be fully charged in just 1 hour and 40 minutes with the optional fast charger. The BMW electric scooter features a telescopic front fork and side-mounted rear monoshock and rides on 15-inch wheels with 120 front and 160 rear tyres. The CE 04 has a seat height of 780mm, which can be raised up to 800mm using BMW's optional comfortable seat. It also has a 179kg weight with standard equipment.


The CE 04 features three modes of riding: traction control, ABS, and a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity for navigation. Its overall design is futuristic, with unique features and an unconventional body. Though BMW is yet to reveal specific details like launch date or price, the C 400 GT was introduced at Rs 11.20 lakh (ex-showroom India) and the CE 04 is expected to cost almost twice as much.
