Booking Open for 2023 Yamaha R3 & MT 03 in India Before Launch!

Select Yamaha dealers in India have begun taking unofficial booking reservations for the yet-to-be-released Yamaha MT 03 & R3. The booking amount varies between Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000 depending on the dealerships. According to our sources, the official launch of these Yamaha bikes is scheduled for 2 months from now. 

Only recently, the company showcased the 2023 R3 & MT 03 at a dealer event in India to gauge the attention of their customers, which was fairly favourable. In addition, the brand also showcased 2 other additional big-capacity bikes- MT 07 & YZF R7 at the same event. The launch date is yet to be revealed, but we’re sure it will be launching later this year. 

Yamaha R3 

Yamaha R3 is finally making a comeback after 2019 when it was officially discontinued due to its exorbitant pricing. On its launch, it will directly compete with Keeway K 300R, Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC 390, and TVS Apache RR310. We hope that Yamaha will launch this spectacular bike with a more attractive price tag this time. 

Yamaha MT 03

Yamaha MT 03 is a naked version of the Yamaha R3 and will be reaching the Indian shores for the first time. It majorly shares its hardware with the R3, including the 321cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine delivering 40.4bhp & 29.4Nm. Both bikes also share similar chassis, mono-shock suspension, USD forks and braking hardware. On its launch, the bike will primarily compete with BMW G 310 R, Keeway K300N and KTM 390 Duke.
