The M1000 XR, with its powerful 999cc inline four-cylinder engine, produces 113 Nm of torque.
BMW recently revealed the M 1000 XR as one of their upcoming motorbikes. The bike was sighted at the Isle of Man TT. These are some close-up shots of the next Beemer, which appear to be extremely attractive.
The M-line from BMW Motorrad is well-known for its performance-oriented configuration, and the M 1000 XR is no exception. It will be based on the basic S 1000 XR, but the package will be upgraded. For reference, it has a carbon fibre nose, side panels, wings, and wheels (likely optional). The M 1000 XR also has a full-system Akrapovic exhaust.
In the M 1000 XR, BMW is anticipated to use the same 999cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with BMW's shift-cam technology. In comparison, the M 1000 RR produces an impressive 209.19bhp and 113Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter.
While the feature list is unclear, the M 1000 XR may have many features. The new Bavarian product will have LED lighting, TFT with smartphone connectivity, riding modes, traction control, cruise control, launch control, and more. The tested bike has adjustable USD front forks and a remote adjustable rear shock. Its braking system comprises twin front and single rear discs with Blue M callipers. Meanwhile, the tyres on the wheels are Metzeler K3 Racetec RR.
BMW Motorrad is expected to unveil the bike very soon. The bike will be released worldwide, and there are fewer chances it will release in the Indian market.
