BMW CE 02 Electric Scooter Set to Launch in October in India

BMW will launch the CE 02 electric scooter in India; it will make its Electrification play this October in the growing two-wheel electric market. The BMW CE 02 electric scooter will be reaching the market in the month of October. Under the newly upcoming BMW CE 04, this urban runabout targets the commuter going around its errands within city walls, navigating the roads through the city. Design and Performance Features 

 
A single glance at the CE 02 reveals an amazing combination of form and function in its design. The scooter features minimal body panels, seemingly built around its battery and motor. 
 

The scooter comes with an air-cooled synchronous motor and a 2kWh battery. An optional 2kWh battery is available for buyers looking for an additional power surge. With one battery, the BMW CE 02 chases 45 km along with a top speed of 45 km/h. The second battery will take this up to 90 km, with the top speed being 95 km/h. 
 

It features a double-loop steel frame mounted with an upside-down fork and an adjustable mono-shock. The CE 02 rides on 14-inch wheels and is fitted with a 239mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear to handle the braking chores. 
 

The BMW CE 02 will be priced at a premium considering the badge it wears. We expect it to sit above the BMW G 310 range of bikes, somewhere between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 5 lakh. 
 

Due to its brand identity, the BMW CE 02 is expected to be priced at a premium. It is anticipated to fall above the BMW G 310 series, likely ranging between ₹4 lakh and ₹5 lakh.
