Bajaj Auto released its sales report showing significant YoY growth in November 2023, with a remarkable 31% increase in total sales (2W + CV) (domestic + exports). The company also sustained a steady 6% growth on a YTD basis (April to November 2023).
Breaking down the YoY sales figures, Bajaj Auto achieved a total of 4,03,003 units in November 2023, reflecting a decent improvement from the 3,06,719 units sold in November 2022. However, there was a MoM decline, with sales dropping from 4,71,188 units in October 2023.
Bajaj Auto continues to showcase strong performance in the market, witnessing notable growth in sales compared to the same month last year.

Bajaj Auto further witnessed substantial growth in the two-wheeler & commercial vehicle segments during November 2023. In the two-wheeler category, their domestic sales experienced an impressive 77% growth, with sales reaching 2,18,597 units, up from 1,23,657 units in November 2022.
However, exports for two-wheelers declined by 6%, totaling 1,30,451 units compared to 1,38,630 units in the same month last year. Overall, the two-wheeler segment saw a significant 33% increase, with total sales reaching 3,49,048 units, up from 2,62,287 units in November 2022.
Meanwhile, in the commercial vehicle segment, domestic sales grew by 34% YoY to 39,147 units in November 2023, showing a substantial rise from 29,226 units sold in November 2022.
However, exports for commercial vehicles declined by 3%, with 14,808 units sold in the past month compared to 15,206 units in the same month last year. Overall, the commercial vehicle segment recorded a solid 21% growth, reaching a total of 53,955 units in November 2023, up from 44,432 units in November 2022.

Bajaj Auto reported an impressive 31% YoY growth in total two-wheeler (2W) and commercial vehicle (CV) sales. The domestic market played a significant role in this growth, witnessing a remarkable 69% increase, with sales reaching 2,57,744 units in November 2023. This surge is compared to 1,52,883 units sold in November 2022. On the flip side, exports experienced a slight dip of 6%, totalling 1,45,259 units last month, down from 1,53,836 units shipped in November 2022.
In the period from April to November 2023, Bajaj demonstrated positive sales performance in the domestic market for both two-wheelers and commercial vehicles. However, the export segment experienced a major decline. The total sales (2W + CV) (domestic + exports) stood at 29,55,551 units in the Apr-Nov 2023 period, showing growth from 27,86,615 units sold in the same period of 2022.
Domestically, two-wheeler sales saw a substantial 22% growth, reaching 15,45,334 units in the Apr-Nov 2023 period, up from 12,65,340 units sold in the same period in 2022.
Conversely, exports for two-wheelers declined by 18%, totalling 9,82,771 units, down from 12,05,042 units in the Apr-Nov 2022 period. The overall segment recorded an impressive 35% growth, with total sales reaching 4,27,446 units, up from 3,16,233 units in Apr-Nov 2022.
Commercial vehicle sales experienced significant growth in the domestic market, with a remarkable 81% increase to 3,21,140 units in the Apr-Nov 2023 period, compared to 1,77,671 units sold in the same 8-month period of 2022.
However, exports for commercial vehicles declined by 23% to 1,06,306 units in the 2023 period, down from 1,38,562 units sold in YTD 2022. Overall, the commercial vehicle segment recorded a 35% growth, with total sales reaching 4,27,446 units on a YTD basis, up from 3,16,233 units.
