Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z has launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The best part? The Pulsar NS400Z bookings are open now, and with a token amount of just Rs 5,000, you can secure your bike. Plus, deliveries are set to begin next month, so you won't have to wait too long to ride your new Pulsar. The bike comes in a single variant with four colour options: Metallic Pearl White, Glossy Racing Red, Pewter Grey, and Ebony Black.
This new model is the most powerful in the Pulsar lineup. But what's truly impressive is its affordability. It is designed to compete with bikes like the Triumph Speed 400 and the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450. Moreover, the new Pulsar NS400Z offers a powerful 400cc engine at a price that's notably more affordable than other 400cc motorcycles, like the Dominar 400.
The all-new 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z’s overall profile highlights a streetfighter aesthetic. It shares similarities with other Pulsar NS models like the NS200. The front features a distinctive single LED projector headlight with lightning bolt-shaped DRLs and a small fairing. This design of NS400Z includes a striking headlight with powerful illumination.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z showcases a muscular fuel tank with integrated extensions and carbon fiber-styled shrouds that overlap the radiator. It has a split seat and signature Pulsar LED tail lights at the rear. Furthermore, the new Bajaj 400cc bike introduces unique features like a bi-directional projector headlight.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z offers a similar engine to the KTM RC 390 and Bajaj Dominar 400. This Pulsar bike features a 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine that delivers 39.4 bhp at 8,800rpm and 35Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Moreover, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox.
Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z features a perimeter frame with a front suspension of 43mm USD fork and a rear suspension of gas-charged monoshock, adjustable for preload. Moreover, this 400cc motorcycle has a 320mm front disc and 230mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. It has a weight of 174 kg and features a 12-litre fuel tank capacity. Moreover, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z bike comes with 110/70-17 front and 140/70-R17 rear tyres. Also, it has a seat height of 807 mm and a ground clearance of 168 mm.
As the new flagship Pulsar, the NS400Z comes packed with advanced features. It has all-LED lighting, switchable traction control, and four ride modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road. These modes adjust throttle response and ABS settings. The bike also features adjustable levers for brakes and clutch.
The instrument cluster is a modern digital LCD unit with Bluetooth connectivity. When paired with a smartphone via a dedicated app, it displays incoming calls, missed calls, SMS notifications, and turn-by-turn navigation details. There are also controls for music and a lap timer included.
