Bajaj Pulsar 220F Is Coming Back! Expected Starting Price At Rs 1.35 lakh

Bajaj Auto is all set to bring back its iconic Bajaj Pulsar 220F to the Indian market soon. Units of the regenerated motorbikes have already hit the dealerships. The deliveries are expected to begin in the next week or two.

While we are still waiting for the company to announce the pricing of Pulsar 220F, however, we can expect the price to be around Rs 1.35 lakh in India. When you compare it with the older version’s worth, it doesn’t have all that much difference. Bajaj Pulsar 220F will be put slightly below its other stablemates - NS200 and NS250.

When the N250 and F250, the 220F’s spiritual successors, were released, they replaced them, which led to their demise at the time. At the time, Bajaj stated that the 220F would be phased out gradually rather than all at once because it was still in good demand in some areas of the country. However, it now appears that Bajaj has made the decision to keep supplying this demand.

The relaunch of the Pulsar 220F will either be a nationwide event or will only be available in select areas. The South of the country appears to have the highest concentration of bike dealers who are acquiring the newest models. Deliveries should not be too far off, as some dealers have already received units, and others claim to be expecting bikes in the next three to four days.

Bajaj won’t need to make many changes to the bike since it was already BS6-compliant when it was retired. This should indicate a 220cc fuel-injected air/oil-cooled engine with outputs of 20.9hp at 8,500rpm and 18.5Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. Nevertheless, starting on April 1, 2023, all two-wheelers sold in India must have OBD2 onboard diagnostic technology. The bikes that have begun to arrive at dealers at this time also appear to feature colours and graphical schemes that are remarkably close to those that were offered on the model when it was previously for sale.
