Quick highlights:
Bajaj has launched the all-new Pulsar N125 in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹94,707. The bike comes in two variants, with the higher-spec model priced at ₹4,000 extra. Along with the bike, there is an all-new engine, chassis, and overall look, the first big update in the Pulsar line.
The styling of Pulsar N125 differs from the earlier Bajaj Pulsars as it is rather known for its sharp lines and floating panels, which give it a sporty feel. Then, while the front end has a robust look, the tail end is much thinner.
Bajaj sells the Pulsar N125 in two different variants—LED Disc and LED Disc BT. The former is the lower-end one, with a slimmer rear tyre, a small LCD, and a conventional self-starter. The rich-end model boasts bold colors, a large LCD with Bluetooth, a wider rear tyre, and ISG for a silent start. It also has a switchable auto start/stop system to deliver maximum efficiency.
Under the hood, the smooth bodywork of the Pulsar N125 boasts a new frame with the engine as a stressed member. Sourced from Japan, the Pulsar N125 rides with a telescopic fork at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. The bike is equipped with 17-inch wheels featuring a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. It also comes with a Combined Braking System (CBS) as standard.
The Pulsar N125 has a completely new 124.58cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 12bhp at 8,500rpm and 11Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Furthermore, the bookings for the Bajaj Pulsar N125 are now open, and deliveries are set to begin soon. In the competitive segment, it rivals the TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R.
