Bajaj Auto has launched a new Pulsar N160 in India, equipped with a USD fork, Bluetooth connectivity and ABS mode. Competitively priced at Rs. 1.40 lakh, it stands as the most expensive variant, slightly in dual-channel ABS trim, priced at Rs. 1.33 lakh (both are priced ex-showroom).
Unlike other variants in telescopic forks, this trim is equipped with USD forks in order to improve handling and stability. The bike's digital console is now Bluetooth-enabled, providing accurate navigation and other related features. Riders that essentially modify the ABS system adapt the handling to the riding conditions. Moreover, it offers three modes: road, rain, and off-road, assuring a safe and comfortable ride in any condition.
The rest of the specifications of the new Pulsar N160 remain in line with other variants. It has a 164.82cc, oil-cooled engine producing 15.68 bhp and 14.65 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox and low kerb weight of 125 Kg with a fuel tank capacity of 14 Liters. In terms of hardware, it has 17-inch wheels and a rear preload-adjustable monoshock.
The Bajaj Pulsar N160 is competing with the Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ-S Fi, Honda X-Blade, Hero Extreme 160 4V and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
