Bajaj Dominar Range of Bikes Launched in Malaysia

Bajaj Dominar 400 and Dominar 250 are similar to Indian Models. 

Bajaj launched the Indian models of Dominar 400 and Dominar 250 at the Malaysian Auto Show under Modena's branding. Modenas and Bajaj strategically partner to bring Bajaj motorcycles to the Malaysian market and also to exchange technology with each other. This involves exporting motorcycles from India in a CKD (completely knocked down) state. 

 This means the components are partially assembled and completed at Modenas' production facility in Malaysia. This partnership could benefit both companies, including access to new markets and opportunities for technological advancement. 

There is no major difference between the Dominar models sold in India and Malaysia. The Bajaj Dominar 400 has a range of touring accessories such as a tall visor, pillion backrest, hand guard and baggage carrier. Features also include an engine bash plate with an integrated metal skid plate, a redesigned leg guard and saddle stays. The bike also offers added protection to the rider on rough terrains or in tough conditions. 

Engine Specifications of the Dominar Models

 Dominar 400 has standard accessories, including a USB charging connector and navigation, except for the saddle stay. The 373.3 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 39.42 bhp and 35 Nm of peak torque remains used for the Dominar 400 sold in Malaysia. The hardware is also similar to those sold in India.  

The Dominar 250 uses the same powertrain and hardware as the Indian model. It powers a 249 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine similar to KTM 250 Duke. The engine produces 26.8 bhp of power and 23.5 Nm of torque. Colour Options such as Citrus Rush, Red and 

Black is also the same. 

Price Comparison of Bajaj Dominar 400 and 250 

The Bajaj Dominar 400 and 250 in Malaysia seem that Dominar 400 priced at RM 15,797, which is around Rs 2.90 lakh in Indian currency. The Dominar 250 is priced at RM 13,797, which is around Rs 2.53 lakh Indian Rupee. The various factors on which Price variation depends, such as taxes, import duties, and other local charges. It's worth noting that prices may differ between countries due to variations in regulations, taxes, and other factors.
