Bajaj Auto is reportedly gearing up to introduce the Pulsar NS400, a 400cc iteration of their iconic Pulsar series. Expected to make its debut in 2024, the NS400 aims to bridge the gap between the NS200 & the Dominar 400 in Bajaj's motorcycle lineup.
Bajaj plans to position the Pulsar NS400 below the Dominar 400 in its product portfolio. This strategic placement aims to cater to riders seeking a middle-ground option within the Pulsar lineup.
One of the most surprising aspects of the upcoming NS400 is the engine choice. Instead of opting for the 399cc engine from the KTM 390 Duke, Bajaj will employ the trusted 373cc engine from the Dominar series. This liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine churns out a formidable 39.4 BHP & 35 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The NS400 will feature a modified NS200 chassis adapted to accommodate the larger engine. This adaptation might result in a slightly heavier frame but promises to retain the sporty DNA associated with the NS range. We can expect signature elements such as
