Auto Sales December 2022: Suzuki Motorcycle India Registers 25 % Growth

For the month of December 2022, Suzuki Motorcycle India saw a sales growth of 25%. The brand sold 40,905 units in the Indian domestic market and sold 23,007 units in a month overseas. 

The two-wheeler division of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), sold 63,912 units in December 2022. In one month, the firm shipped 23,007 units and sold 40,905 units in the local market.

Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director at Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd, told the press, “In December 2022, we recorded an overall sale of 63,912 units, which translated to a tremendous year-on-year monthly growth of 25% compared to the same month last year. The company exported 23,007 units in the month from India. This is the highest- ever monthly export sales reported by the company till date.”

In December 2022, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd. introduced the brand-new Burgman Street EX. The Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha (SEP-) engine, Engine Auto Stop-Start (EASS) technology, and Silent Starter System are included with the 125cc premium scooter.
