The Bookings for Ather Rizta scooter are now open, and deliveries will start in June 2024. The Ather Rizta aims to redefine the electric scooter experience for families across India.
The Co-Founder & CEO of Ather Energy, Tarun Mehta, said, “We entered the two-wheeler market with our performance scooter, the 450 series, which was recognised in the industry. Now, we are setting foot in the family segment with the Rizta, which has been designed and engineered with the Indian family in mind. It focuses on key aspects such as comfort, safety and connected tech, which we believe makes it an upgrade from the conventional scooters in the market. Rizta will reflect Ather’s proposition of quality, reliability, and safety.”
The Ather Rizta front end features horizontally positioned headlamps, daytime running lights, and turn signals. It also has side and rear panels that enhance both visual appeal and practicality. Moreover, the Ather Rizta storage space under the seat is 34 litres and measures 900 mm in length. This allows you to carry groceries and work bags. Also, additional front storage of 22 litres is available for smaller items like wallets and cleaning clothes.
This electric scooter offers the most generous seating area among scooters in India.
Ather also offers an attachable frunk for those requiring extra storage, further enhancing the scooter's versatility. Furthermore, the Ather Rizta is available in a variety of colors. The S variant comes in three monotone colours, and the Ather Rizta Z has seven colour options.
Ather Energy offers consumers the flexibility to choose between two battery sizes. The Rizta S variant features a 2.9kWh battery, while the Rizta Z comes with a larger 3.7kWh battery. Both battery variations are backed by a reassuring 5-year warranty, offering peace of mind to consumers.

It has a longer, wider, and lower subframe, along with a monoshock at the back and telescopic forks at the front. With 12-inch wheels and MRF tyres, it's more stable and has better grip on the road.
