Aprilia Unveils Its Highly Anticipated RS 457 | Here’s What The Price Tag Could Look Like!

Aprilia has officially pulled the covers off its RS 457 in India. This bike model will be the brand's most affordable option in the Indian market. Let’s take a look at everything we know so far!

The latest RS 457 takes a major inspiration from Aprilia’s RS 660 & RSV4 models. Ergo, the new model shares the same split LED headlights that are topped up by a transparent visor. RS 457 boasts enhanced ergonomics, thanks to its small fin-like vents on its side fairings, situated below the handlebars.  
 

The new RS 457 is a proper supersport motorcycle with a track-ready nature and a committed rider stance. This supersport bike boasts half-handlebars mounted above the steering plate, a road sports solution for the best combination of sportiness & riding comfort. This model will be available in 3 colour options for you to choose from. 

Aprilia RS 457 sources its power from an ultra-modern & technologically advanced liquid-cooled twin-cylinder 457cc engine with a dual-camshaft timing & 4-valve per cylinder. This agile engine is capable of producing 47 bhp (35 kW) of peak power and comes tuned to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike can be ridden with an A2 license. The new Aprilia bike power-to-weight ratio truly seems unbeatable, thanks to its 159 kg dry weight. 

The Aprilia RS 457 comes with an array of rider aids, including -

• Switchable 3-level Traction Control
• Rider Modes
• ABS
• 5-inch TFT Instrument Console
• Smartphone Connectivity

As for the list of hardware setup in the Aprilia RS 457 includes - 

• Suspension -  Adjustable USD front forks and a monoshock.
• Brakes - Front & rear disc brakes with ABS
• Wheels & Tyres - 17-inch wheels shod with TVS Protorq Extreme tyres

Aprilia India will be revealing the price point of the Aprilia RS 457 very soon. However, given the features & techs the bike offers, the price might fall above Rs 4 lakhs in India once launched. The bike will be giving tough competition to the TVS Apache RR 310, KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 & 400.
