Aprilia RS 457 is Set to be Unveiled on September 20

Aprilia India is getting all set to introduce its most affordable motorcycle sensation - RS457 in India. This beauty is going to be unveiled on 20th September, and while we would love to tell you about the pricing, the company has ensured to keep that under wraps. The company will be opening the bookings for the model soon after the launch.

You can expect a sleek split LED headlight paired with a stylish transparent visor, along with low-set clip-ons & rear-set footpegs, delivering that unmistakably sporty riding stance that's perfect for the thrill-seekers among us! 
 

Under the hood (or should we say, under the fairings), the RS 457 packs a punch with its 457cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, pumping out a thrilling 47bhp. And guess what? Shifting gears is going to be an absolute blast with its six-speed gearbox and quick-shifter. Safety and control are paramount with ABS, switchable 3-stage traction control, ride-by-wire, and 3 ride modes. 
 

But wait, there's more! The RS 457 comes decked out with full LED lighting and an impressive TFT screen. And if you're into staying connected while you ride, there's optional Bluetooth connectivity to keep you in sync on the go. 
 

Now, let's talk about the ride and handling – Aprilia has you covered with adjustable USD front forks and a monoshock. The braking setup includes single front and rear discs, perfectly complemented by sporty 17-inch wheels. Wrapped around those wheels are the grippy TVS Eurogrip Protorq Extreme tyres, with a 110/70 up front and a beefy 150/60 at the rear, ensuring you've got the traction you need for thrilling rides. 
 

As for the price tag, we're expecting the RS 457 to be priced above Rs. 4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It's all set to go head-to-head with some fierce competition, including the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, Ninja 400, and the eagerly anticipated Yamaha YZF R3.
