The Auto Expo, India’s largest motor show, is just around the corner. Auto Expo 2023, scheduled to take place in January 2023, will feature approximately 30 EV manufacturers displaying their range of revolutionary products.
So, if you’re planning to go, here’s all you need to know about the event to get the most out of it.
We are super excited to announce to you all that we are covering the entire event to bring you all the latest unveilings at this Auto event. Auto Expo 2023 dates are January 11 to January 18. However, you must know that for the general public, the event’s gate will be open from January 13 till January 18.
Auto Expo will begin at 11 AM each day. However, the closing timings vary. Refer to the table below to know each day’s timing, both opening and closing:

Please note that the entrance gates will be closed 1hr before the closing time on all days. Moreover, entry to the halls will also be restricted 30 mins before closing.
The India Expo Mart in Greater Noida will once again serve as the site of Auto Expo 2023, just like the last few motor shows.
The New Delhi International Airport, which is 53 km from the expo and 40 km from Gate No. 2 of the New Delhi railway station, is the closest airport for out-of-town guests.
The 1.3 km distance from Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology is the closest bus stop to the Expo Mart. It may also be accessed using the metro’s Aqua line, with Knowledge Park II and Jaypee Greens Pari Chowk being the closest stations.
This year’s Auto Expo may not be as rich in brand displays as previous editions, but you can still enjoy displays from Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, and MG.
All visitors must purchase a ticket in order to enter the Auto Expo, with a few exceptions. The organisers are selling the tickets online through a well-known event website, with weekend tickets costing Rs 475 and weekday tickets starting at Rs 350 as of January 16. The tickets are priced at a maximum of Rs 750 on Friday, January 13. If you intend to attend the exhibition for more than one day, you must purchase more than one ticket because each one only allows you admission once.
It’s important for you to know that the organisers of the Auto Expo do publicly indicate that there is a big list of products you cannot bring to the venue if this is your first time going. This includes any type of food or drink, as those will be offered on the event’s grounds. In addition, pets are not permitted at the event as well because the automotive showcase is not suitable for them.
Although you are allowed to bring bags within the space, be aware that there is no service to store your possessions. Therefore, bring only what you can carry at all times.
Carrying clothing appropriate for the weather is another tip for outstation guests who are unfamiliar with Delhi NCR’s winter. The weather forecast for the day and time you want to visit should be found in your preferred source of weather-related information. Additionally, depending on the time of day, you can encounter foggy driving conditions when travelling to or from the Expo Mart.
