The 2025 Yamaha YZF-R3 features an edgy, sporty look thanks to its all-new R-series design language. The motorcycle is offered in three colour schemes: Team Yamaha Blue, Matte Stealth Black, and Lunar White/Nebula Blue.
The front of the bike has a new fascia, a redesigned headlamp—a new LED projector headlamp—and four-way position lamps. The turn signals are also updated to LEDs now. The side fairing and tail section have also been redesigned for an aggressive look.
In terms of features, the R3 now gets a new LCD instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity. The latter works with the Y-Connect app to allow riders to get call and notification alerts as well as other riding information.
Meanwhile, an assist and slipper clutch has also been fitted to help give smoother downshifts and a lighter feel on the clutch lever.
However, the 2025 YZF-R3 keeps the same 321cc parallel-twin engine, which produces 41.4bhp and 29.5Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Further, the KYB USD front forks and a rear mono-shock handle suspension duties, while single discs at both ends with dual-channel ABS handle braking.
The Yamaha YZF-R3 is rivaled by the Aprilia RS 457 and Kawasaki Ninja 500. The Japanese company currently sells the older generation R3 in India, while this 2025 model is expected to be available early next year.
