Yamaha has just revealed the 2025 MT-07 motorcycle. This new model is the fourth generation. It has many new features, such as the chassis, engine, and style.
The MT-07 now has Yamaha’s latest Y-AMT transmission system. This new system changes gears automatically. So, riders do not need to use a clutch or gear shifter. They can also choose from two automatic modes, which shift gears for them. There’s even a manual mode with buttons on the left handle to shift. Lets know more about this Yamaha bike in detail.
Yamaha MT-07 also gets ride-by-wire throttle technology. This allows more electronic controls, like traction control and cruise control. Moreover, there are three ride modes for different power levels. Riders can switch between these modes using a 5-inch TFT screen, which connects to smartphones for navigation.
Furthermore, the 2025 model keeps its reliable 690cc engine that generates 72.4 bhp. Yamaha has kept the manual transmission option as well, so riders can still choose a manual model if they want.
The 2025 MT-07 has a fresh, sharp look, inspired by Yamaha’s larger MT-09 and MT-10 models. The fuel tank is redesigned, now with special openings to channel engine sound toward the rider. This feature gives riders a thrilling sound experience while riding. The MT-07 will come in three colour choices, including Ice Storm, Icon Blue, and Tech Black.
Yamaha has improved the bike’s frame, wheels, and brakes for a better ride. The new frame is stronger, and the wheels are lighter. The front now has 41mm upside-down forks, which are lighter than the older ones.
Moreover, the company has lowered the seat height, making it easier for more riders to sit comfortably. They adjusted the handlebars and footpegs, giving the rider more comfort and control. Apart from this, the brakes have improved with stronger, four-piston brakes in the front.
The 2025 Yamaha MT-07 will be in stores worldwide next year. Many believe it will also come to India as Yamaha focuses more on premium bikes there.
