Bajaj is India’s No.1 bike exporter and has sold more than 18 million bikes in around 70 countries. Moreover, the brand is the very first company in the world to have a market value of INR one trillion for both two-wheelers and three-wheelers.
The company is ready to launch the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 in India. It is a famous motorcycle that created a new category, Sports Biking. This bike has arrived at dealerships, as seen in a YouTube video by ‘Sameer Vlogs’.
Let’s check out the updated features of this bike.
The Pulsar NS200 bike is equipped with a 199.5cc liquid-cooled, triple spark, 4-valve, FI DTS-i engine that delivers 24 bhp @ 9,750 rpm and 18.74 Nm @ 8000 rpm of torque. Moreover, its power-packed engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox that ensures smoother accelerations. The 6th gear makes the bike more powerful when you're riding fast and reduces strain on the gearbox. Also, this bike is now 1.5 kg lighter, which ensures a better power-to-weight ratio.
This bike comes with USD telescopic forks at the front and a nitrox mono-shock absorber with a canister at the rear end. It makes riding more thrilling, and the bike can take sharp corners quickly and handle smoothly.
Moreover, it comes with 300mm disc brakes at the front and 230 mm disc brakes at the rear with dual-channel ABS. This braking setup ensures safety while riding. This bike is more stable and easier to control due to wider tyres (100/80-17 in the front and 130/70-17 in the rear). This helps prevent slipping, especially in wet or challenging conditions.
The 2024 Pulsar NS200 keeps its bold streetfighter style but adds some modern touches. The bike's sharp, blade-like speed lines show its aggressive and sporty style. Its naked streetfighter design looks even more fierce and muscular now. Moreover, it looks sophisticated and powerful with black chrome, grey, and carbon fibre finishes. The new LED headlight with boomerang-shaped DRLs looks cool and provides better visibility.
It still has its muscular look, but now with sportier graphics for fresh aesthetics. The bike's sharp lines and tough stance appeal to riders who want a bike that looks as good as it rides. This bike is now available in two colour schemes, including Metallic Pearl White and Glossy Ebony Black.
This Pulsar bike gets a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. It features a Distance-To-Empty Readout, which tells you how far you can go on the fuel left. Moreover, Instantaneous Fuel Economy shows how efficiently you're using fuel at that moment, and Average Fuel Economy gives you an idea of your overall fuel efficiency. Also, it gets a DC, 12 V, 8Ah VRLA electric system for more convenience.
Pulsar NS200 faces off against rivals like TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Honda Hornet 2.0. Bajaj hopes the new design and added features will boost sales for NS200. Its prices in India start from Rs. 1,49,363 (ex-showroom).
