Hero has launched the Hero X Pulse 200 4V in the Indian Market with all new updates. The base variant is available at an Ex-Showroom Price of Rs. 1,43,516, and the Newly introduced Pro Variant is available at an Ex-showroom price of Rs. 1,50,891. In addition, the bike now gets more mechanical and visual upgrades than the previous model.
According to the new Government norms, the new XPulse 200 is now OBD-2 compliant and can run on E20 Fuel. The same 200cc, four-valve engine produces 18.83 bhp at 8000 rpm and a peak output torque of 17.35 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine is aligned to a 5 Speed gear transmission.
Hero is now providing three ABS modes as Rally, Road and Off-Road. The ABS is completely turned off in Rally, ABS is tuned for dry Roads in the Road mode, and the ABS intervention is reduced in Off-road mode.
The base variant has conventional telescopic front suspension, mono-shock rear suspension, 21-inch front, and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels with Ceat A/T tyres. The ground clearance is 220mm, which can be increased to 270mm with the Hero Xpulse 200 PRO variant. This variant also has compression and rebound adjustable front suspension, rebound, preload-adjustable rear suspension, longer suspension travel (250mm front and 220mm rear), and Maxxis knobby tyres. The motorcycle also gets a taller seat now with a seat height of 850mm with an extended gear lever.
In terms of appearance, the windshield appears to be 60mm taller, providing better wind protection to the rider. The New Headlight now gets a projector setup. Moreover, the USB charger is moved to a new position and an all New switchgear is installed. Handguards and luggage carriers are also attached to the motorcycle. The base variant of the 2023 XPulse is available in three colours Black, Sports Red, Matte Nexus Blue and Techno Blue and the Pro variant will get Rally Edition graphics.
