Kawasaki KLX 230 S Launching This Month, Expected Price Under 2 Lakh
Kawasaki KLX 230 S Launching This Month, Expected Price Under 2 Lakh
CalendarPublished on October 2, 2024 by BikeJunction
Kawasaki is all set to launch the KLX 230 S in India this month. This new model is designed to be a rider-friendly dual-sport motorcycle, which makes it ideal for beginners. The 2024 KLX 230 S is expected to be priced aggressively, with a price tag of around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom) or possibly even lower. This would make it an affordable choice for off-road enthusiasts in India. Features and SpecificationsThe KLX 230 S comes with some interesting features that set it apart from typical dual-sport bikes. It has a lower seat height and less suspension travel, which makes it easier for new riders to handle. According to international specifications, the seat height is 843mm, while the suspension travel measures 198mm in the front and 220mm in the rear. Moreover, the ground clearance stands at 239mm, which is ideal for both on-road and off-road conditions. The bike is expected to weigh around 133kg. However, with additional features to meet Indian regulations, like the saree guard and front number plate, the weight may increase slightly, possibly reaching closer to 140kg. Engine and PerformanceKawasaki KLX 230 S uses a simple 233cc air-cooled, 2-valve engine that generates between 17hp and 20hp. The bike is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox and is designed to be both BS6 and E20 fuel-compliant. This ensures it meets Indian emission standards. Furthermore, the bike will come with ABS, adding an extra layer of safety for riders. Recently, images of a new Hero Xpulse 210, which will use the engine from the Karizma XMR, have surfaced. This upcoming model could have a power advantage over the KLX 230 S.  Positioning and CompetitionKawasaki KLX 230 S will be the third Indian Kawasaki model, following the Ninja 300 and W175. If Kawasaki can keep the price low, their new Japanese dual-sport bike could be the first of its kind to be road-legal in India. This might make it a strong competitor for other brands in the market. Before you go, don’t forget to check out the Bajaj two-wheelers sales in September 2024.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter

Weekly Two-Wheeler Wrap: Royal Enfield, TVS & Brixton Launches New Bikes & More
CalendarPublished on November 26, 2024 by BikeJunction
This week, the two-wheeler industry saw exciting launches and important updates for bike lovers. The brands are bringing something for everyone. Royal Enfield introduced the Goan Classic 350, while Brixton entered India with four new bikes. These launches highlight a growing focus on modern retro designs and advanced features. Let’s know more in details:  Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 launched Royal Enfield has just launched the Goan Classic 350 at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 2.35 lakh in Indian market. An extra seat at the back is available as an option for that vintage appeal. Furthermore, it features LED headlights, painted wire-spoke wheels, and stylish white-wall tubeless tyres. The bike comes in four vibrant colours, including Purple Haze, Rave Red, Shack Black, and Trip Teal. Brixton Motorcycles launched 4 New Bikes Brixton has launched four new bikes in India, including Cromwell 1200, Cromwell 1200 X, Crossfire 500 X, and Crossfire 500XC. The motorcycle sports a semi-faired design, clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs for that sporty touch. Its distinctive Monza-style front fairing and redesigned fuel tank add charm. Additionally, this new bike by Royal Enfield will have dual front disc brakes, alloy wheels, and traditional telescopic forks. It will also boast chrome indicators, black twin exhausts, and a single-pod digital display. The launch is likely in 2026-27. TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Launched This week TVS has launched the newest version of the Apache RTR 160 4V for Rs. 1,39,990. In the newest model, the bike comes in three new colours, including Granite Grey, Matte Black, and Pearl White. Apart from this, it features new golden USD front forks and red alloy wheels that add a premium touch. Furthermore, the bike retains its sporty look, which is popular among young riders. The 37mm USD forks improve handling and reduce unsprung weight. It also has a monoshock rear suspension and disc brakes at both ends. These updates make it stylish and better to ride. VLF Tennis Electric Scooter Launched Italian brand Velocifero has launched the VLF Tennis electric scooter in India for Rs 1.30 lakh. It is locally made in Kolhapur by KAW Veloce Motors, and deliveries will start on November 25. Moreover, the scooter has a sleek, compact design with a rectangular LED headlight and weighs just 88 kg. It offers a 2.5 kWh removable battery with a 130 km range and a 1.5 kW hub motor. The top speed is 65 kmph, and charging takes three hours. Kawasaki Dropped Price of ZX-10R Kawasaki has dropped the price for the Ninja ZX-10R by Rs. 1.14 lakh last week. This makes the motorcycle price at Rs. 17.34 lakh now. Moreover, this Ninja bike has finally become more affordable and an even better value-for-money proposition than before. Its price was earlier close to the BMW S 1000 RR, which made it less desirable. Kawasaki thus hopes that this discount will attract more buyers for the popular supersport. Before you go, don’t forget to check out the comparison between the two best bikes in the 160cc category.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
