Kawasaki KLX 230 S Launching This Month, Expected Price Under 2 Lakh
Kawasaki KLX 230 S Launching This Month, Expected Price Under 2 Lakh
CalendarPublished on October 2, 2024 by BikeJunction
Kawasaki is all set to launch the KLX 230 S in India this month. This new model is designed to be a rider-friendly dual-sport motorcycle, which makes it ideal for beginners. The 2024 KLX 230 S is expected to be priced aggressively, with a price tag of around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom) or possibly even lower. This would make it an affordable choice for off-road enthusiasts in India. Features and SpecificationsThe KLX 230 S comes with some interesting features that set it apart from typical dual-sport bikes. It has a lower seat height and less suspension travel, which makes it easier for new riders to handle. According to international specifications, the seat height is 843mm, while the suspension travel measures 198mm in the front and 220mm in the rear. Moreover, the ground clearance stands at 239mm, which is ideal for both on-road and off-road conditions. The bike is expected to weigh around 133kg. However, with additional features to meet Indian regulations, like the saree guard and front number plate, the weight may increase slightly, possibly reaching closer to 140kg. Engine and PerformanceKawasaki KLX 230 S uses a simple 233cc air-cooled, 2-valve engine that generates between 17hp and 20hp. The bike is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox and is designed to be both BS6 and E20 fuel-compliant. This ensures it meets Indian emission standards. Furthermore, the bike will come with ABS, adding an extra layer of safety for riders. Recently, images of a new Hero Xpulse 210, which will use the engine from the Karizma XMR, have surfaced. This upcoming model could have a power advantage over the KLX 230 S.  Positioning and CompetitionKawasaki KLX 230 S will be the third Indian Kawasaki model, following the Ninja 300 and W175. If Kawasaki can keep the price low, their new Japanese dual-sport bike could be the first of its kind to be road-legal in India. This might make it a strong competitor for other brands in the market. Before you go, don’t forget to check out the Bajaj two-wheelers sales in September 2024.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
2025 Kawasaki Versys 1100 Launched at Rs 12.90 Lakh
2025 Kawasaki Versys 1100 Launched at Rs 12.90 Lakh
CalendarPublished on February 14, 2025 by BikeJunction
With an ex-showroom price of ₹12.90 lakh, Kawasaki India has launched the 2025 Kawasaki Versys 1100. Despite having the same aesthetic design, this new sports tourer is ₹1 lakh less expensive than its predecessor and has a larger engine. Moreover, this motorbike can be a strong rival of the BMW S 1000 XR. Check out the full details below.Kawasaki Versys 1100 : Engine & Specifications The engine of the new Versys 1100 is larger than that of the Versys 1000. Its inline 4-cylinder, 1099 cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine generates 112 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm and 133 bhp at 9,000 rpm. Additionally, this powertrain is paired with the 6-speed return shift transmission with an assist and slipper clutch. Furthermore, an oil cooler keeps the engine running at the ideal temperature, and a heavier flywheel makes the ride more comfortable. A twin-tube aluminium frame supports the brand-new Kawasaki Versys 1100. For the comfort of the riders, it sports 43mm USD forks with pre-load adjustment and rebound. It also has a gas-charged monoshock with remote pre-load adjustment, rebound, and damping. Braking is handled by 310mm floating dual discs with radially mounted monobloc four-piston callipers up front, as well as a 260mm disc with a single calliper.Kawasaki Versys 1100 : Design & FeaturesIn terms of appearance, the Versys 1100 and the outgoing Versys 1000 are not all that dissimilar. The recognisable twin-headlamp arrangement and sharp, angular form are still present. In the global markets, the bike is available in three variants: Base, S, and SE. However, India will receive only the standard variant for this kawasaki bike. In addition, it is only available in one colour, which is Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey with Metallic Diablo Black. The Versys 1100's features include electronic cruise control, a USB-C port situated on the handlebar, and an adjustable windscreen. Also, technologies like the Intelligent Anti-Lock Brake System, electronic throttle valves, multiple power modes, and a triple-mode Traction Control. Before you go, check out the 2025 Honda NX200 Launched at Rs. 1,68,499 in Three Colour Options. Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb  Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta  Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter

Hero Xpulse 210 vs Kawasaki KlX 230 Comparison: Specs & Features
CalendarPublished on February 14, 2025 by BikeJunction
Hero MotoCorp recently launched the new XPulse 210 at Auto Expo 2025 at Rs 1.76 lakh (ex-showroom). In the 200-250cc dual-sport bike market, the new XPulse 210 competes with the recently launched Kawasaki KLX 230, which costs a whopping Rs 3.3 lakh (ex-showroom). Here we compare Hero Xpulse 210 vs Kawasaki KLX 230.  Is the Kawasaki KLX 230 overpriced, or does it offer more than it seems? Let’s check. Hero Xpulse 210 vs Kawasaki KLX 230: EngineSimilar to the Karizma XMR 210, the Hero XPulse 210 is powered by a larger 210cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. At its peak, it generates 24.2 bhp and 20.7 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the Kawasaki KLX 230 has a 233cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 17.8 bhp and 19.8 Nm of torque. Both motorcycles have a six-speed gearbox, but the XPulse has a slip-and-assist clutch as well. With a more power output of 4.4 bhp and a torque of 0.9 Nm, the XPulse is more potent than the KLX.Hero Xpulse 210 vs Kawasaki KLX 230: SpecificationsThe Hero XPulse 210 has a 10-step adjustable rear monoshock with 205mm travel and a front telescopic fork with 210mm suspension travel. In contrast, the Kawasaki KLX 230 features a rear monoshock with 250mm wheel travel and a front telescopic fork with 240mm wheel travel. The KLX 230's braking system comprises a 265mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc brake. On the other hand, the XPulse 210 employs dual-channel ABS with 276mm front and 220mm petal disc brakes. Both bikes have dual-sport tube tyres and spoke wheels that are 21 inches in front and 18 inches in back. Overall, this indicates that the XPulse appears to be the more desired of the two in terms of hardware as well.Hero Xpulse 210 vs Kawasaki KLX 230: Design & FeaturesThe Hero XPulse 210 features an appropriate dual-sport stance. It has a taller windscreen, a flatter seat, and a new H-shaped LED daytime running light. Along with a streamlined tail section and a larger tail rack for mounting baggage, it also has redesigned side panels. In contrast, the Kawasaki KLX 230's dirt bike-inspired design makes it seem spectacular. It has thin bodywork, dirt-bike-like fenders, a flat seat, and a single-piece headlight. The upswept exhaust on both bikes improves their ability to wade through water. The Hero XPulse 210 has a 4.2-inch LCD/TFT instrument panel, turn-by-turn navigation, and smartphone connectivity. Additionally, it features a USB charging port. A ride-by-wire throttle, switchable rear ABS, and three riding modes—road, off-road, and rally—are among the XPulse 210's rider aid features. On the other hand, the Kawasaki KLX 230 lacks turn-by-turn navigation but has a basic LCD instrument display and smartphone connectivity with SMS and call notifications. Additionally, the rear ABS is switchable. As a result, compared to the KLX 230 and XPulse 210 has considerably more features and rider aids. Before you go, check out the 2025 Kawasaki Versys 1100 Launched at Rs 12.90 Lakh. Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb  Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta  Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
