Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the new Jawa 42 FJ in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This model is sportier and more powerful than the other Jawa 42 bikes. The Jawa 42 FJ comes with a bigger engine, borrowed from the 350 series, and new colour options. It also features a unique tear-drop fuel tank with bold 'Jawa' branding. The updated Jawa 42 lineup offers a fresh design and improved performance.   Jawa 42 FJ Design & Features The Jawa 42 FJ has a sporty and stylish design. It features a tear-drop-shaped fuel tank with an aluminium plate on the side, giving it a modern retro look. The side panels and fenders are similar to the standard Jawa 42, but the seat and handlebar are redesigned for a better riding position. The bike also has special alloy wheels with a smooth finish, upswept exhaust pipes, and an offset fuel tank cap.  Furthermore, the Jawa 42 FJ comes with LED lights, a USB charging port, and a digital instrument cluster. The bike is available in five colour options, and its blacked-out engine and multi-spoke alloy wheels add to its sporty appeal.  Jawa 42 FJ Specifications The Jawa 42 FJ gets power from a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It puts out 21.45 bhp and 29.62 Nm of torque. The bike gets a six-speed gearbox along with a slip-and-assist clutch for slicker shifts.  This bike was further built on a strong steel frame, followed by a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the back.
