Last week saw a number of noteworthy launches from leading manufacturers in the Indian two-wheeler sector. Additionally, several motorcycles got enhancements and feature updates. Manufacturers updated the pricing of several bikes in addition to releasing new models. These modifications are a reflection of changing consumer preferences and market developments. This is a comprehensive summary of all the events that took place in the industry throughout the last week.Bajaj Pulsar NS125 ABS LaunchedBajaj Motors launched the latest version of Pulsar NS 125 abs at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.07 lakh. The major update in this model is that it incorporates the single-channel ABS. Now that ABS is included, it can compete strongly with the Hero Xtreme 125R. Other rivals of the Pulsar NS125 include the Honda SP125 and the TVS Raider. All things considered, this modification places it among the very few reasonably priced 125cc bikes with ABS.Honda NX200 ADV LaunchedHonda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the Honda NX200 in India, with a price tag of Rs 1,68,499 (ex-showroom). This model will replace the CB200X, which debuted in 2020 but failed to blow the sales chart away. Compared to the NX200, it has a slightly different design and a few extra features. However, underneath it, nothing has changed. Both Honda's Red Wing and Big Wing dealerships will sell the NX200.Upgraded Honda Shine 125 LaunchedFor the Indian market, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India recently launched an updated version of Honda Shine 125. The bike comes in two different versions: Disc and Drum. The disc version costs Rs 89,245, and the drum variant costs Rs 84,493 (all prices ex-showroom). Additionally, there are now six new colour options available for the bike. Lastly, this bike now complies with OBD-2B emission norms.Updated Vespa Lineup LaunchedVespa has introduced its 2025 lineup in India, which includes performance enhancements, appearance changes, and new features. The two main models in the 2025 Vespa lineup are the regular and S. These Vespa Scooters come with different engine capacities: 125cc and 150cc. Tech variants of the Vespa and Vespa S are also available, adding features like keyless starting and a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth. Furthermore, Vespa has also introduced two limited editions: Oro and Qala.Price Cut on KTM 390 DukeLast year, KTM launched an updated 390 Duke model, which retailed for Rs 3.13 lakh ex-showroom. The company has now decided to reduce the price of the KTM 390 Duke by Rs 18,000, bringing the ex-showroom price to Rs 2.95 lakh. Surprisingly, the motorbike remains unchanged, only the prices are reduced. Before you go, check out the All-new TVS Ronin Rann Utsav Edition. Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter

Riding Through Real Stories : 6 Months of Honda SP 125 Ownership
CalendarPublished on February 15, 2025 by BikeJunction
BikeJunction welcomes you back to the series "Riding Through Real Stories," where we connect with real riders to hear their experiences. Today, we bring you an honest 6-month ownership review of the Honda SP 125. A dedicated rider shared his experience, covering everything from mileage to servicing and overall performance. Let's dive into the details:First Purchase & MaintenanceThe rider purchased the Honda SP 125 in September 2024 for an on-road price of Rs. 93,571. After considering multiple options and gathering feedback from other users, he finally decided on the SP 125, mainly for its balanced performance and fuel efficiency. So far, the bike has undergone two servicing sessions, and the rider was charged Rs. 650 for oil changes and other basic maintenance. He finds the servicing cost reasonable and is satisfied with the bike's low maintenance requirements.Mileage & Riding ExperienceIn his six-month journey, the user used the bike on the longest ride of 35-40 km, where he achieved a fantastic mileage of 60 km per litre on the highway. In city traffic, there are stoppages at regular intervals, and the mileage drops a bit to about 45-50 km per litre, which is still great for daily commuting. The user appreciated the digital console of the bike. Further, as a mature rider, he rides at 70 kmph for the most part and finds the bike very stable at this speed. This honda bike is made for daily use, and the motorcycle feels smooth in various road conditions. Moreover, the pickup is said to be neither too fast nor too slow, and the bike is ideal for beginners as well as experienced riders. The bike has a 123.94cc engine, which delivers 10.9 Nm of torque, so the pickup is just right, and this makes it easy to handle the bike. He also mentioned that “the bike requires a bit of throttle while ignition; otherwise, it switches off”. It is something new users might take time to get used to.Final Verdict & RatingAfter riding the Honda SP 125 for six months, the user has given it a solid 8.5/10 rating. He praises its fuel efficiency, smooth handling, and stability, which makes it a great choice for daily commuters.  Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
