It’s where manufacturers showcase their latest models, innovations, and concepts to the global biking community”.  Upgrades and launches this weekEICMA 2024 saw significant motorcycle unveilings, including the Royal Enfield Bear 650, KTM 390 Adventure R, and Aprilia Tuono 457. Hero Motocorp unveiled its new Karizma XMR 250 and Xtreme 250R, while Royal Enfield unveiled its first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6, with a launch slated for 2026. However, showstoppers at Hero's stand were the unveiling of design sketches of the Xpulse 421 concept. Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 electric bikeRoyal Enfield has launched its first-ever production electric motorcycle, known as the Flying Flea C6, at EICMA. The bike has an aluminium frame coupled with a magnesium battery casing that is light in weight and provides great performance. The Flying Flea C6 is powered by a modern, contemporary safety feature such as traction control and cornering ABS. EICMA 2024: Hero Unveils Karizma XMR 210 with New Upgrades
CalendarPublished on November 11, 2024 by BikeJunction
Hero MotoCorp has revealed the updated Karizma XMR 210 at the 2024 EICMA show. The company did not hold an event but quietly displayed the bike. This updated model has two key upgrades, including the suspension and the instrument cluster. This update is expected to increase the price by about Rs. 5,000. So, the new ex-showroom price may be around Rs. 1.85 lakh. Let’s know more about what is updated in this Hero bike.  New Suspension and Stylish Grey PaintHero has made some upgrades to the front suspension of this bike, turning it into upside-down (USD) front forks. Hence, this bike has a really good, premium, lookable, and sporty metallic gold paint job on the forks. Its advanced suspension would ensure the bike rides much more smoothly and very well through the roughest roads and the sharpest corners for taking great turns. Additionally, the bike has a fresh, matte grey colour scheme with contrasting yellow accents. This updated colour gives the Karizma XMR 210 a modern and eye-catching look, sure to appeal to younger riders. The bike’s weight has also gone up by about two kilos due to these new upgrades, with the updated model now weighing approximately 165.5 kg. Upgraded Instrument Cluster & Other Specifications Another big change is the new full-colour TFT screen. This display is the same as on Hero’s Xpulse 210 model. The current Karizma has a simpler LCD screen, which shows basic information. The new colour display will make the bike look more modern and stylish. The Karizma XMR 210's engine remains the same, with a 210cc liquid-cooled motor that generates 25 bhp and 20 Nm of torque. Furthermore, it has a six-speed gearbox for smoother acceleration. Hero is expected to launch this updated Karizma XMR by late next year, likely around the festive season. Before you go, don’t forget to check out the top 5 updates from EICMA 2024 Day 3.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb   Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta   Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
