OKAYA EV recently launched its new electric scooter - Faast F2F, with a price tag of Rs 84,000 (ex-showroom). Faast F2F electric scooter targets students, home-makers and young professionals looking for a simple yet affordable ride. This electric scooter will offer a range of 70-80 km per charge and delivers a top speed of 55km/hr. Okaya Faast F2F will be sold all across India at more than 550 Okaya Electric Vehicle outlets. Faast F2F has an 800W-BLDC-Hub Motor paired with a 60V36Ah (2.2 kWh) lithium-ion – LFP battery. In addition, the company has offered a 2-year warranty on its battery and motor for its users, which will definitely attract more customers. As for the suspension system, the scooter comes with a telescopic front suspension and spring-loaded hydraulic rear shock absorbers, giving users the smoothest driving experience. Faast F2F also comes with multiple features that includeRemote Key, Digital Instrument Cluster, DRL Headlamps,Edgy Taillamps, and3 Driving Modes - Eco, City and Sports. Okaya EV has offered Faast F2F in 6 colour options for users to choose from, which areMetallic Black, Metallic Cyan, Matte Green, Metallic Grey, Metallic Silver and Metallic White. Faast F2F has an 800W motor fused with a 2.2 kWh lithium-ion LFP battery, which only takes 4-5 hours to charge fully. The battery boasts a long-lasting life and high stability and functionality even at high temperatures. On 10 Feb 2023, Okaya Electric Vehicles will introduce its brand-new electric scooter in India. Online leaks of government information have occurred beforehand. After the Faast F4, Freedom, and ClassicIQ, Okaya's fourth electric scooter in India is the Faast F3. The planned price is Rs 99,999. (ex-showroom).Three driving modes are available for the Okaya Faast 3 e-scooter: Eco, City, and Sport. It receives LED head and tail lamps, DRLs, and a digital cluster built on the CAN bus. Its features include a remote key and a reverse mode option.Okaya Faast F3 Electric Scooter Features:Let's talk about the Faast F3 electric scooter, which will have some industry-first features. It will be equipped with dual 3.5kWh Li-ion LFP batteries and a 1200W motor with a peak power of 2500W. In addition, the battery pack will have switchable technology and provide a 130–160 km range per charge.The highest speed is estimated to be between 60 and 70 km/h, and charging will take about 5 to 6 hours. Under the seat is where the battery will go. The Faast F3 will have drum brakes at the front and back and ride on 12-inch tubeless tyres. The front and rear suspension systems use telescoping setups and spring-loaded hydraulic shock absorbers, respectively.LFP batteries have a number of benefits. Compared to NMC batteries, their lifespan is 2–4 times longer. They also boast 2500 charge cycles and are safer because they do not catch fire. Users can therefore anticipate using their batteries for about 6 years without any performance degradation. In addition, the motor and battery come with a 3-year/30,000 km warranty from Okaya.Okaya Faast F3 Electric Scooter Competitors:Okaya Faast F3 will find itself battling with the likes of Hero Optima CX, Okinawa Praise Pro, and Ampere Magnus EX in its segment as the electric scooter segment gains relevance and various newcomers enter the fray alongside more established models.Although Okaya Faast F3 is the most expensive of these competitors at Rs 99,999, it comes with a rebate of Rs 20,000 (in Gujarat), but this may differ by state. Additionally, it offers the maximum power (1200W; PP-2500W) and fastest speed (70 km/h). According to ICAT, it has the best range in its sector at 130 km/charge and has three riding modes: Eco, City, and Sport.It lacks the alloy wheels seen on the Hero Optima CX and Okinawa Praise Pro, but it does have a side stand indicator that none of its three competitors has. In addition, the Faast F3 has fixed batteries as opposed to the removable batteries used by its rivals. When compared to the other 3 e-scooters that Okaya offers, the Faast F3 costs Rs. 99,999, while the Freedom costs Rs. 74,899.
