Bajaj Auto plans to invest about INR 800 crore in the fiscal year 2024-25. This follows its commitment to invest the same amount in the previous FY 2023-24. Bajaj's executive director, Rakesh Sharma, revealed that they are manufacturing a much more affordable Bajaj Chetak electric scooter. Currently, Bajaj Chetak has two variants in its portfolio, including Urbane priced at Rs 1.23 lakh and the Premium version at Rs 1.43 lakh. But this upcoming Bajaj Chetak Scooter is expected to launch by May 2024 at just Rs. 1 Lakh. Ather recently launched the Rizta scooter at an affordable starting price of Rs. 97,546.
