Bajaj plans to introduce six new Pulsar models to enhance its lineup in India. The company has seen success with recent product launches, which have boosted its market share in specific mass-market segments. Now, the company is expanding its portfolio with the launch of EV bikes and CNG motorcycles. Bajaj has announced a capital expenditure of up to Rs. 800 crore to support these new initiatives.  Bajaj Auto 800Cr. Investment  Bajaj Auto has planned to invest approximately INR 800 crore in the FY 2024-25. However, In the January-March quarter of 2024, Bajaj Auto reported a combined net profit of INR 2,011 crore, marking an 18% increase from the same period last year. The company intends to allocate a substantial portion of this investment towards expanding the production capacities for three-wheelers and Chetak electric scooters.  Bajaj Pulsar NS400  The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 400 is ready for launch on May 3, 2024. The bike is expected to be equipped by a powerful 373cc engine producing 39 bhp and 35 Nm of torque. Also, it will come with 17-inch wheels, dual-channel ABS and a monoshock suspension system. Riders can expect a comfortable ride with cable-like sleeves. The 400cc Pulsar is expected to come with modern, fully digital instrumentation that can be connected to smartphones. This feature also enables roaming, Bluetooth connectivity, and SMS. Additionally, it can include different ride modes, ABS settings, and traction control options. Bajaj CNG Motorcycle Bajaj is developing a new CNG-powered bike. This upcoming bike has either a 110cc engine from models like the Platina 110cc or a 125cc engine from the CT125X.  The CNG bike will feature a bi-fuel setup, allowing riders to switch between CNG and petrol using a dedicated switch. It will feature an LED headlight, knuckle guards, and new 5-spoke alloy wheels. Bajaj Hydrogen-Powered Chetak Chetak Technologies Limited (CTL) is in charge of hydrogen powered vehicles in India. Bajaj's aim is to become the first OEM in Asia to introduce hydrogen powered locomotives for two-wheelers. This project is a significant step towards innovation, as hydrogen fuel is underutilized in the Indian market. Bajaj is intensifying its green vehicle efforts through hydrogen-powered two-wheelers and three-wheelers. The company is committed to exploring alternative fuels like hydrogen and CNG for its vehicles. Its subsidiary, Chetak Technologies Limited (CTL), is exploring hydrogen vehicle development.  The company is aiming to pioneer hydrogen engines in India and potentially launching its first production model. This venture enhances Bajaj's reputation for innovative products. Moreover, the brand is also ready to unveil its biggest-ever Pulsar on May 3rd, 2024.  Bajaj Strategies For Enhancing CTL Bajaj is known for trying new mobility projects, like introducing LPG-powered scooters and the Qute quadricycle. Now, they're launching India's first CNG-powered motorcycle in May 2024. They've appointed Abraham Joseph, who previously led successful projects like Pulsar and Dominar, as MD of their new subsidiary. CTL will focus on developing and selling future Bajaj and KTM electric two-wheelers.
