Latest Aprilia RS 660 [2024] Updates

2025 Aprilia RS 660 Unveiled: New Look and Higher Performance!
2025 Aprilia RS 660 Unveiled: New Look and Higher Performance!
CalendarPublished on November 8, 2024 by BikeJunction
The Aprilia RS 660 has returned for 2025 with a fresh design and several updates that make it even more powerful, stylish, and comfortable to ride. Now, the mid-size motorcycle combines power, style, and cutting-edge technology. The most striking feature of the 2025 model is the presence of tiny winglets-a threatening trend in motorcycle design. The 2025 Aprilia RS 660 will be offered in two new colours, including Venom Yellow and Blue Marlin. Currently, the 2024 model is priced at Rs. 17.74 lakh ex-showroom in India. The new version is expected to launch in India after its international release. Let’s know more about it in detail.  New Winglets for Stability and ComfortThe redesigned fairing of the Aprilia RS 660 now includes two large winglets just below the headlamp, along with smaller wings positioned behind them. These are not only for style but also have practical functions. They also contribute to generating downforce, keeping the bike stable at high speeds. Additionally, they help deflect hot air from the engine and radiator away from the rider. In this way, the rider is kept comfortable, especially on longer rides or in warm weather. Upgraded Engine Power and Enhanced ElectronicsThe 2025 RS 660’s 660cc parallel-twin engine has been improved to meet the strict Euro5+ emissions standards. This makes it environmentally friendly without compromising power. In fact, Aprilia has added a little extra punch to the bike, increasing its power to 105bhp. This boost comes from larger throttle bodies, now 52mm instead of 48mm. Additionally, Aprilia has introduced a launch control feature to the bike’s already impressive electronics package. This joins other advanced features like multi-level traction control, wheelie control, cruise control, engine brake control, cornering ABS, and multiple engine maps. Furthermore, these settings can all be easily managed on a five-inch TFT screen that allows riders to monitor and adjust performance for the best ride experience. Before you go, don’t forget to check out the recently launched Oben Rorr EZ bike.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb   Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta   Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter

So what is basically EICMA? “EICMA (Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori) is the world's premier motorcycle trade show, held annually in Milan. It’s where manufacturers showcase their latest models, innovations, and concepts to the global biking community”.  Upgrades and launches this weekEICMA 2024 saw significant motorcycle unveilings, including the Royal Enfield Bear 650, KTM 390 Adventure R, and Aprilia Tuono 457. Hero Motocorp unveiled its new Karizma XMR 250 and Xtreme 250R, while Royal Enfield unveiled its first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6, with a launch slated for 2026. KTM also showcased the 390 Adventure R and more. New Hero bikesHero Motocorp unveiled a major launch at EICMA, a sea of new and updated motorcycles. Headliners include the all-new Karizma XMR 250, Xtreme 250R, and Xpulse 210. The company also presented the 2025 versions of the Mavrick 440 and Karizma XMR 210. However, showstoppers at Hero's stand were the unveiling of design sketches of the Xpulse 421 concept. Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 electric bikeRoyal Enfield has launched its first-ever production electric motorcycle, known as the Flying Flea C6, at EICMA. The bike has an aluminium frame coupled with a magnesium battery casing that is light in weight and provides great performance. The Flying Flea C6 is powered by a modern, contemporary safety feature such as traction control and cornering ABS. It has the first Royal Enfield model with such technology on board, and it's all set to roll out into the market in 2026. Aprilia Tuono 457 unveiledThe brand showcased at the EICMA 2024 the much-awaited Tuono 457-essentially the version of the sportbike RS 457. The Tuono does away with the fairing and boasts a new headlamp design. Further, it features a tubular single-piece handlebar for better comfort in the saddle, similar to the RS 457. Like the RS 457, the Tuono will be manufactured locally; chances are that its prices will be lower than those of their sportbike models. Royal Enfield Bear 650 launchedRoyal Enfield launched the scrambler version of the Interceptor 650, called the Bear 650.
