Let's find out a few of the launches and reveals ready to do their rounds at this event Bajaj Auto Bajaj is going to launch Pulsar NS160 Flex Fuel bike, which can run on E100 ethanol fuel. Showcased at IBET Expo 2024, the bike is said to look very identical to the petrol version. Bajaj's CEO, Rajiv Bajaj, said this model will hit the markets in March 2025. It has also been reported that Bajaj may release a cheaper Chetak electric scooter featuring a new design. The new model forms part of the company's expansion into electric two-wheelers. TVS Motor Company TVS could bring several alternative fuel-powered models to the event. The TVS Jupiter CNG scooter, rumoured to be in development, may be revealed as a competitor to Bajaj’s Freedom 125 CNG. The TVS Raider 125 Flex Fuel bike is also expected, which can run on E85 ethanol-blended fuel. Suzuki Unveils the 2025 DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM Models
Suzuki Unveils the 2025 DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM Models
CalendarPublished on November 12, 2024 by BikeJunction
Suzuki has officially unveiled the 2025 DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM on international markets. Both motorcycles have been totally redesigned for the 2025 model year, with a new engine and updated underpinnings. Moreover, these two motorcycles would be equipped with a new 398cc, single-cylinder engine that has a Euro 5+ norm. The unit is able to churn out 38bhp, and its peak torque is rated at 37Nm. The new engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. Furthermore, the Suzuki DR-Z4S will compete with the similar KTM 390 Enduro R, while the DR-Z4SM will compete with the KTM 390 SMC R in overseas markets. Key Differences Between the Suzuki DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM: Design, Suspension, and Features ExplainedThese two bikes not only fall into different categories but also differ at many levels, like the size of wheels and suspension travel, along with features. Both have the same engine within a newly designed twin-spar frame that has been complemented by an aluminium subframe. KYB upside-down forks are fitted on the front side of both models, providing adjustability for rebound and compression. At the rear, both the bikes have an adjustable monoshock. The Suzuki DR-Z4S is equipped with 21/18-inch wire-spoke wheels shod with dual-purpose tyres. Remaining true to its enduro body, it boasts a plush suspension travel of 280mm at the front and 296mm at the rear, giving it a relatively tall seat height of 920mm. Electronics-wise, it employs a ride-by-wire throttle with three selectable engine maps, adjustable traction control, and dual-channel ABS, which can be turned off on both wheels. Meanwhile, the Suzuki DR-Z4SM is a supermoto, having 17-inch wire-spoke wheels with grippier, road-biased tires. Typical for a supermoto, it has shorter suspension travel: 260mm at the front and 277mm at the rear. The SM model has a lower seat height of 890mm compared to the DR-Z4S, making it more accessible to the rider. While it shares the same electronics as the DR-Z4S, the DR-Z4SM allows the ABS to be deactivated only at the rear wheel. These Suzuki DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM motorcycles are exclusively designed for international markets. Bikes in the dual-sport and supermoto categories have a huge market and even a Suzuki fanbase. However, Suzuki's possibility of bringing these models to India is almost negligible. Before you go, have a look at the Weekly bike news update: Royal Enfield Bear 650, KTM 390 Adventure R, and other highlights.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb   Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta   Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
