Indian Unveiled Redesigned Scout Sixty Models
CalendarPublished on November 15, 2024 by BikeJunction
The innovative spin on the legendary Scout family came in the two newly launched models, the Indian Scout Sixty Classic and Scout Sixty Bobber. Both variants are fitted with a 999cc V-twin engine. It churns out power in the amount of 84 horsepower, where power is improved by a touch of style.  Classic's vintage looks but modern features and Bobber's minimalist approach with an impressively low-slung stance gave these two concepts a different style. The same motorcycle satisfies riders' performance, comfort, and classic style all at once. Quick Highlights:New Indian Scout Sixty models unveiledAvailable in Classic and Bobber variantsPowered by 999cc liquid-cooled V-twinFeatures digital clusters, cruise control, modesEuropean launch expected in early 2025Indian Motorcycle has reintroduced its iconic Scout Sixty brand with two new models – the Classic and the Bobber – featuring upgraded engines. Classic & Bobber Unveil Bold New Design and FeaturesBuilt on the Scout platform, the Scout Sixty models have a new frame, engine, updated aesthetics, and new modernity. From the images, both bikes are clearly evident that they have been highly redesigned and freshly changed in the front and side profiles. Comparing the two, the Bobber would be more stylish and modern. Scout Sixty Classic and Bobber have the new 999cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine. The engine produces 84bhp of ultimate output and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. With this output, the bike now satisfies European law for an A2 license. The new digital instrument clusters are featured on the motorcycles, which also gain cruise control, a USB charger, and multiple riding modes. However, all these features are available only on the top-of-the-range Limited models. The new Indian models will be launched in Europe soon, with deliveries expected to begin in early 2025. Unfortunately, these bikes won’t be available in India, as the company no longer sells motorcycles here. Before you leave, have a look at the Want Retro Bike Apart From RE Classic 350.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb   Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta   Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
Harley vs. Indian: Which Bike is Best for a Cross-Country Trip?
Harley vs. Indian: Which Bike is Best for a Cross-Country Trip?
CalendarPublished on October 5, 2024 by BikeJunction
Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle have been each other's equal for close to 120 years, with powerful styles and experiences. Both companies have amazing bikes on the road, but the query most riders hope to find an answer to is which might be a great option for that cross-country tour. Let’s compare the Harley Davidson Road Glide Special with the Indian Pursuit Dark Horse.  Harley Davidson Road Glide SpecialThis Harley bike has an 1868 cc engine that delivers 163 Nm @ 3000 rpm torque. Additionally, it offers an excellent riding experience, not only to the rider but also to the passenger. It covers long distances hassle-free due to features like the fuel tank's capacity of 22 litres and ample storage in a top case for two helmets. The starting price is quoted to be Rs 40.49 to 40.99 Lakh for India. Indian Pursuit Dark HorseThe price of the Indian Pursuit Dark Horse in India ranges from Rs 43.20 to 44.40 Lakh. This bike has an engine much stronger compared to Harley, with 122 hp and 178 Nm of torque. Its PowerPlus Liquid-Cooled design keeps the bike even when subjected to harsh, heavy usage. The bike also gives more enhanced handling, which makes it easy to manage twisty roads or even long rides. Designed with comfort in mind, the Indian has a considerable 158 Litres of storage space and a 22-litre fuel tank. It rides way forward, and some people want this because of its stylish looks. Harley's slightly more upright position, on the other hand, is a tad bit more comfortable. Conclusion and VerdictBoth the Harley Davidson Road Glide Special and the Indian Pursuit Dark Horse are excellent bikes for long cross-country rides. However, the Indian Pursuit Dark Horse stands out because it offers better handling, a more powerful engine, and stays cooler during rides. Therefore, if you want a comfortable and reliable motorcycle for long trips, the Indian Pursuit Dark Horse is the better option. Moreover, both bikes are known for their power and heavy builds, which makes them popular for road trips. Specifically, the Harley Davidson Road Glide Special weighs 385 Kg, while the Indian Pursuit Dark Horse is a bit heavier at 416 Kg. In addition, both bikes are great for long rides and have plenty of storage for added comfort. Other Options to ConsiderBesides Harley and Indian, you might also consider the Honda Goldwing, BMW K1600 GTL, and Ducati Multistrada V4 for long rides. These bikes offer different levels of power, comfort, and price. Before you go, have a look at the KTM to Integrate New Bosch ARAS Functions in Upcoming ModelFollow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fbInstagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_instaTwitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
