Lectrix has launched its NDuro electric scooter in India at Rs. 59,999. The NDuro EV will be available in 120 cities through over 200 dealerships. Customers can also buy it on Flipkart with EMI options for added convenience. Moreover, the company has also introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model to lower ownership costs. The customers can either lease the battery or opt for a swap. Battery Leasing reduces upfront costs by nearly 40%, which makes the scooter more affordable. Moreover, battery Swapping and Leasing allow users to exchange discharged batteries at swap stations.The NDuro is priced at Rs. 57,999 for the first 1,000 customers. This introductory price promotes the early adoption of eco-friendly vehicles. Let’s know more about this recently launched electric scooter from Lectrix. Design & Aesthetics The scooter features a sporty design with aggressive front panels and a round LED headlight. It has a long, single-piece seat that is spacious enough for two adults. Furthermore, the split grab rails and leg guards add to its practicality. The floorboard is spacious, and the slim tail section gives it a sporty vibe. The scooter also features 42 litres of underseat storage, the largest in its segment. This makes it perfect for everyday commuting and small errands. Powerful Performance and Battery OptionsThe Lectrix NDuro has two battery choices, including 2.3kWh and 3kWh. The 2.3kWh version covers 90 km on one full charge, while the 3kWh offers a more range of 117 km. Both batteries feed a hub-mounted motor that attains a top speed of 65 kmph. Furthermore, the scooter takes 5.1 seconds to go from 0-40 km/h. It gets telescopic forks and at the rear, twin shock absorbers for comfort. Advanced Features and Smart ConnectivityLectrix NDuro includes an LCD instrument cluster that displays essential information like speed, range, and battery status. The scooter also offers smart connectivity features. These include live location tracking, emergency SOS, ride analytics, and anti-theft alerts. Additionally, it has a hill-hold assist for better control on slopes.
