This resulted in a 15.80% increase in YoY growth. Moreover, an impressive 26.67% growth in MoM sales is seen, as in October 2024, sales figures were 20,65,095 units. OEM-wise Market Share Data for November 2024 with YoY % 2-Wheeler OEMs Sales Figures & Market Share in November 2024Hero MotoCorp LTD sold the most two-wheelers in November 2024, with 915,468 units. This is a 13.79% increase from the 804,498 units they sold in November 2023. However, their market share declined by -1.74%. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India came in second, selling 654,564 units in November 2024. This is a 27.07% increase from the 515,128 units they sold in November 2023. Their market share also increased by 9.73%. TVS Motor Company Ltd. was third, selling 420,990 units in November 2024 compared to 366,896 units sold in November 2023. Their sales increased by 14.74%, but their market share degraded by 0.91%. Bajaj Auto Ltd.'s sales increased by 10.58% to 304,221 units in November 2024, compared to 275,119 last year. However, its market share declined slightly to 4.51%. Royal Enfield motorcycles experienced an 11.38% growth in sales, with 93,530 units sold in November 2024, up from 83,974 last year. Its market share decreased to 3.82%. Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed a 10.65% YoY growth, with 91,972 units sold in November 2024, compared to 83,121 in November 2023. Suzuki’s market share decreased to 4.45%. Yamaha India sold 68,266 units in November 2024, which is a 6.44% increase from 64,133 units in November 2023. Moreover, their market share decreased to 8.08%.  In November 2024, Ola Electric reported total sales of 29,204, a decline of 2.89% compared to November 2023 sales of 30,073 units. Moreover, the company also experienced a degrowth of 16.14% in the market share. Ather Energy Pvt Ltd sold 12,760 units in November 2024. For comparison, the company registered sales of 9,342 units in November 2023, reporting a whopping increase of 36.59%. Moreover, on the market share front, the company also experienced an increase of 17.95% this month. Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd clocked in a total sales unit of 4,469 in November 2024, as compared to 4,416 units sold in November 2023. Due to this, the company saw a growth of 1.20% this month. Apart from this, the company also experienced an increase in its market share by 18.61% for November 2024.  Classic Legends, which offers retro-style motorcycles, sold 4,148 units in November 2024. This represents a 25.09% growth from the 3,316 units sold in November 2023. Their market share also increased to 8.02%. Piaggio sold 3,154 units in November 2024, a 9.24% decrease from the 3,475 units sold in November 2023. Hero MotoCorp has launched its new Vida V2 electric scooters in India. These scooters come in three variants, including V2 Lite, V2 Plus, and V2 Pro. This marks Hero’s entry into the sub-1-lakh EV segment with competitive pricing. The V2 Lite costs Rs. 96,000, while the V2 Plus is priced at Rs. 1,15,000. Moreover, the top model, V2 Pro, is available at Rs. 1,35,000. All prices are ex-showroom and include subsidies. Apart from this, the EV scooters also come in two new colours, including Matte Nexus Blue-Grey and Glossy Sports Red. Battery, Range, and Speed DetailsThe Vida V2 scooters feature advanced removable batteries. The V2 Lite has a 2.2 kWh battery and a 64 km range and a 69 kmph top speed. The another variant, V2 Plus has a 3.44 kWh battery and a 100 km range and an 85 kmph top speed. Apart from these, the V2 Pro has a 3.94 kWh battery and delivers best with 114 km range and a 90 kmph top speed. The batteries are IP67-rated for durability and charge up to 80% in six hours. All scooters are powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor. The V2 Pro accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Advanced Features and ConvenienceHero has packed the Vida V2 with modern features for a better riding experience. All models include a 7-inch TFT touchscreen for navigation, telematics, and battery updates. Moreover, Vida V2 scooters feature keyless entry, cruise control, and follow-me-home lights, which add convenience. A regenerative braking system recharges the battery during deceleration. Furthermore, the V2 Pro offers four riding modes, including Eco, Ride, Sport, and Custom. The scooters comes with telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock ensure a smooth ride. The scooters also have alloy wheels, a front disc, and a rear drum brake. Warranty and CompetitionHero offers a five-year or 50,000 km warranty for the scooter and a three-year or 30,000 km battery warranty. Its extensive fast-charging network in 250 cities adds further appeal. Lectrix has launched its NDuro electric scooter in India at Rs. 59,999. The NDuro EV will be available in 120 cities through over 200 dealerships. Customers can also buy it on Flipkart with EMI options for added convenience. Moreover, the company has also introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model to lower ownership costs. The customers can either lease the battery or opt for a swap. Battery Leasing reduces upfront costs by nearly 40%, which makes the scooter more affordable. Moreover, battery Swapping and Leasing allow users to exchange discharged batteries at swap stations.The NDuro is priced at Rs. 57,999 for the first 1,000 customers. This introductory price promotes the early adoption of eco-friendly vehicles. It has a long, single-piece seat that is spacious enough for two adults. The scooter also features 42 litres of underseat storage, the largest in its segment. The 2.3kWh version covers 90 km on one full charge, while the 3kWh offers a more range of 117 km. Both batteries feed a hub-mounted motor that attains a top speed of 65 kmph. Furthermore, the scooter takes 5.1 seconds to go from 0-40 km/h. It gets telescopic forks and at the rear, twin shock absorbers for comfort. Advanced Features and Smart ConnectivityLectrix NDuro includes an LCD instrument cluster that displays essential information like speed, range, and battery status. The scooter also offers smart connectivity features. These include live location tracking, emergency SOS, ride analytics, and anti-theft alerts. Additionally, it has a hill-hold assist for better control on slopes.
