KTM 390 Enduro R vs KTM 390 Adventure: Which one to choose?

Overview

KTM has introduced the 390 Enduro R as a more hardcore off-road version of the 390 Adventure. Both bikes share the same engine platform; however, they are built for different purposes.

Pricing

The KTM 390 Enduro R is priced at Rs 3.36 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the KTM 390 Adventure is priced at Rs 2.84 lakh. The higher price of the Enduro R reflects its superior off-road components.

Engine

The Enduro R comes with 398.63cc engine that produces 45.37 bhp and 39 Nm torque. In contrast, the 390 Adventure comes with 373.27cc engine that produces 42.91bhp and 37 Nm torque. Hence, Enduro wins.

Features

The 390 Adventure comes equipped with traction control, riding modes, and a full-colour TFT dash. The Enduro R also has the same features, but additionally, it has Ride By Wire Technology.

Design

The 390 Enduro R looks more rugged and dirt-ready, with a Dakar-inspired high front fender. In contrast, the 390 Adventure has a more road-biased design with alloy wheels, windscreen, and body panels.

Specifications

The KTM 390 Enduro R has an 860mm seat height, 177kg kerb weight, and 253mm ground clearance. The 390 Adventure offers a slightly lower 855mm seat height, the same weight, but lower 200mm ground clearance.
