BMW Motorrad has launched its second electric scooter, the CE 02, in India. Priced at Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom), it’s one of India’s most expensive electric two-wheelers.

Power and Performance

BMW CE 02 is powered by an 11 kW electric motor delivering 15 bhp. It offers a range of 108 km per charge, ideal for city and short-distance highway rides.

Acceleration and Top Speed

BMW CE 02 accelerates from 0 to 50 kmph in 3 seconds. Its top speed of 95 kmph comfortably handles highway riding.

Charging Time and Options

The standard 0.9 kW charger takes 5 hours and 12 minutes for a full charge. A faster 1.5 kW charger reduces the charging time to just 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Riding Modes and Features

BMW CE 02 comes with two riding modes: Flow and Surf. It also includes a reverse mode for added convenience. The Highline package introduces an additional Flash mode and heated grips.

High-Tech Features

The CE 02 includes keyless operation, a 3.5-inch TFT screen, LED lights, and USB charging, which are key features. It also has ASC and RSC for enhanced stability.
