New SRK 800 RR Sports Bike Unveiled: QJ Motor
CalendarPublished on September 9, 2024 by BikeJunction
QJ Motor unveiled its latest sports bike, the SRK 800 RR. Powered by an 800cc twin-cylinder engine, this high-performance bike delivers outstanding speed and power. Shine for all sports bike fans with a distinctive, aggressive design, advanced aerodynamics, and modern technology. The SRK 800 RR guarantees a thrilling ride. Built for performance on the road and track, it helps ensure excellent control and stability. This model highlights QJ Motor's dedication to creating powerful and stylish motorcycles for riders looking for the ultimate performance. Highlights: - QJ Motor’s third four-cylinder motorcycle unveiled- SRK 800 RR makes 101 bhp- Looks similar to Ducati Panigale models QJ Motor is the powerhouse of two-wheel Chinese vehicles. The latest sports bike, the SRK 800 RR, has been unveiled in Europe. This full-faired inline-four model is positioned above the SRK 600RR in QJ's sportsbike lineup. Game Changer in Sportbike DesignQJ Motor entered the motorcycle market in 2005 after acquiring the Italian brand Benelli. Interestingly, QJ created the SRK 600RR sports bike using the Benelli TNT 600 platform, which was launched in 2020. However, the SRK 800 RR takes a different approach, as the bike is powered by a 778cc inline four-cylinder engine. The engine was developed specifically for the SRK 800 and produced 101bhp of power. Moreover, in terms of hardware, the QJ SRK 800 RR has a premium hardware setup. It has a steel front grille supporting 17-inch wheels, Marzocchi USD adjustable forks, and an adjustable monoshock. An aluminium swingarm and Brembo brakes with four-piston radial callipers further enhance performance. The design is inspired by Ducati's Panigale series, with a bold and square dual-pod headlight design. There's also a large wing on the fairing and a compact, raised rear end for a stylish look—sleek and fierce. QJ Motor's product portfolio in India currently includes four models: SRK 400, SRC 250, SRV 300 and SRC 500. There are no plans to expand the product portfolio in the near future. Before you go, have a look at the Four-Cylinder CBR400R: Honda’s Next Big Move.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
Triumph India Set to Launch Budget-Friendly Speed 400 on 17 September
Triumph India Set to Launch Budget-Friendly Speed 400 on 17 September
CalendarPublished on September 9, 2024 by BikeJunction
Triumph India is reportedly set to launch an even more economical version of the Speed 400 on September 17 to make it even more accessible. The new model retains the iconic style and performance of the Speed 400 but with an ever more competitive price. The new Speed 400 is powered by a 398 cc single-cylinder engine churning out 39.5 bhp of power and 37.5 Nm of torque. This would be a great combination of modern features and affordability in India while luring fresh Triumph enthusiasts. - New Speed 400 variant launch on 17 September - Could be a cheaper model - Rs 10,000 discount on Speed 400, Scrambler 400X  Triumph India plans to expand its product line-up in the 400cc segment in India. The new motorcycle is expected to go on sale on September 17th, but a teaser image indeed gives some clue that it might be an affordable version of the Speed 400. Design Tweaks and Sales Boost Strategy for BajajThe images shared show that the upcoming bike will have a different seat than the Speed 400. Additionally, the new seat has a sleek design with special stitching. The bike will also use bright red and white tones, and the black panel under the fuel tank will be changed to grey. Hence, these are the only visible changes from the teaser images at this point. It has been well over a year since the Speed 400, and Scrambler 400X launched in India, and the company wants to create some buzz with its new models during this year's festive season. One might also speculate that it may have been a special edition for the Speed 400, but Bajaj would not hold a press conference for such an appearance. However, it looks like the company plans to launch the most affordable 400cc model to boost sales. Bajaj is offering a discount of Rs 10,000 on the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X every month, indicating the challenge of meeting the market's expectations. The new model may help increase overall sales. Prices for the new bikes will be announced on September 17, and deliveries will start in October. Before you go, look at the TVS Raider 125: Your Perfect Urban Commuting Partner.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
Aprilia India's RS 457 Strategy: Smart Dealerships, Rider Communities, and More
Aprilia India's RS 457 Strategy: Smart Dealerships, Rider Communities, and More
CalendarPublished on September 9, 2024 by BikeJunction
The Aprilia RS 457 was launched in India in December 2023. It is the company’s first locally manufactured motorcycle. Piaggio, Aprilia's parent company, aims to expand its presence in India with this model. The RS 457 enters the competitive mid-capacity segment, targeting Indian consumers who are increasingly moving towards performance-oriented bikes. Expansion of DealershipsPiaggio plans to grow its network through Motoplex stores and premium showrooms. By the end of FY 2024, the company aims to have 10 Motoplex showrooms in major Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. These include Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai. Additionally, 20 other showrooms in cities such as Shillong, Kolkata, and Chennai will retail the RS 457. These locations cover more than 80% of the mid-performance two-wheeler market. Piaggio will expand further based on customer demand. The goal is to ensure that the RS 457 is accessible to as many potential customers as possible across India. Training and Customer ExperienceThe company has heavily invested in improving the dealership experience. It has appointed and trained specialized staff at its 33 dealerships across India. This is part of their "RS Champions" program. The staff, including service technicians, received thorough training. Some were even trained online by experts from Italy. Ajay Raghuvanshi, Executive Vice President of Piaggio Vehicles, shared that the focus is on delivering a premium customer experience. He explained that the company is moving towards "new premiumization." This means not only offering a superior product but also ensuring customers receive a top-notch experience at every stage, from purchase to service. After-Sales Service and Spare PartsPiaggio has also prioritized after-sales services for the RS 457. The company has introduced an Auto Guided Diagnostic tool. This tool helps technicians identify and fix issues in real time, making service more efficient. Additionally, Piaggio is ensuring ample spare parts availability through a dedicated facility and regular dealer shipments. The company offers 24x7 roadside assistance and a complimentary service package. The package includes three free services within the first year of purchase. Building a CommunityTo strengthen the bond with its riders, Aprilia India is building a community around the RS 457. The brand organizes monthly rides for RS 457 owners. They also have an event called "Racers Day," which will be introduced in India by the end of September. This event aims to bring a global motorcycling concept to the Indian market. Before you go, don’t forget to check out the FADA two-wheeler sales report for August 2024.Follow us for the Latest Bike Industry UpdatesFacebook - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_offl_fb Instagram-  https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_insta Twitter - https://bit.ly/BikeJunction_ofl_twitter
