Weekly Bike Wrap-Up: Big Launches to New Sales Record!

Last week was a buzz with action in the two-wheeler market, with several significant enhancements and thrilling launches. From brands setting new sales records to upgraded models with new features and colour schemes, it has been quite happening. A brief overview of all the motorcycle-related newsworthy happenings follows!

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Launched

Royal Enfield has launched the 2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 model at Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). As an update, the bike gets new colour options: Rio White, Tokyo Black, and London Red. In addition to the colours, the brand has updated a few things to improve its ergonomics. It has LED headlights, a tripper pod, Type-C USB fast charging, and an updated rear suspension system for a better riding experience. Lastly, the 2025 Hunter 350 also gets 10mm more ground clearance.


Kawasaki Ninja 650 Launched

The popular sports bike manufacturer, Kawasaki, has been upgrading its lineup. Last week, the Brand launched the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 at a price of Rs. 7.27 lakh (ex-showroom). The upgraded bike comes with a new lime green KRT edition colour scheme and a new OBD-2B compliant engine. In terms of mechanics, the bike remains the same. 


Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle Launched

At Rs 12.60 lakh (ex-showroom), Ducati has launched the 2025 Scrambler Full Throttle in India. The new Scrambler Full Throttle comes in a strong black and bronze colour scheme. For a more aggressive appearance, it now has sporty side number plates and bronze alloy wheels. To improve comfort and simplify the design, Ducati also redesigned the seat and rear end. Lastly, it gets two riding modes: Road and Sport, along with ride-by-wire technology.


Suzuki Hayabusa Breaks Sales Record

Once again, the Suzuki Hayabusa has left a lasting impression in India. It had its highest-ever sales in the nation in FY2025. In all, 511 units were sold, the most in any given fiscal year. Compared to the 298 units sold in FY2024, this is a 71% increase. With a 57% market share, the Suzuki Hayabusa now tops its class. Furthermore, in terms of sales, no other superbike in the 1,000–1,600cc class was comparable.
