Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) launched an upgraded version of the SP 125. The 2025 SP 125 is still offered in two different models. The drum variant is available at Rs 91,771, and the disc variant is Rs 91,771, both of which are ex-showroom prices. The Drum variant costs Rs 4,303 more than the prior model, while the Disc costs Rs 8,532 more. Let’s have a detailed look at this newly launched bike from Honda.
The Honda SP 125's design is still the same. Five additional colour options are now available for the 125cc commuter bike: Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, Matt Axis Grey Metallic, and Matt Marvel Blue Metallic. Nevertheless, the most recent SP 125 model has redesigned headlights and taillights that are all LED. The bike now has updated extended tank shrouds that give it a significantly more aggressive appearance.
A 4.2-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth and a USB C-type charging connection are among the new features added to the SP 125. However, the most significant innovations are voice assistance and turn-by-turn navigation, which are accessible through the Honda RoadSync app.
The Honda SP 125 is powered by a 124cc single-cylinder engine that has been converted to OBD2B compliance in order to comply with future regulatory standards. This engine still produces a max output of 10.72 bhp and 10.9 Nm of torque. A six-speed gearbox is responsible for steering. An idle-stop system is also included to aid in fuel economy.
The original motorbike hardware is still present. It is placed on telescopic front forks and dual rear springs and rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels. With a kerb weight of 116 kg, it has an 11.2 litre fuel tank capacity.
