Royal Enfield is preparing to add the Interceptor 750, a more powerful model, to its already-popular Interceptor portfolio. A recent spotting of an unidentified test mule of the bike on Indian roads suggests that its official launch may not be far off. Let's now review our current understanding of the model
.
Royal Enfield is getting ready to introduce the Interceptor 750. The new 750cc parallel-twin engine powers it and generates over 50 bhp and 60 Nm of torque. Significantly more powerful than the current generation 650cc model. The goal of this improvement is probably to increase efficiency and refinement in addition to performance. Moreover, it is probable that the 750cc model will continue to use the six-speed transmission.
From the spy photos, it is clear that the Interceptor 750 has just minor design changes. Circular LED turn indicators and a new LED tail light are elements of the test mule. The circular LED headlight keeps its classic look, while alloy wheels take the place of the spoked ones found on the 650 model. In addition, the motorcycle's appearance is essentially the same, with similar side panels, fuel tank, and other design elements.
Royal Enfield has created a new dual front disc arrangement to harness all of that power. Additionally, the brand equipped the new Interceptor with suspension even though the frame looks to remain the same.
The company would modify the suspension for improved comfort and handling. To get that proper balance, the dual shock absorbers and strong telescopic fork will probably be modified. One of the most significant issues with ride quality that the current Interceptor 650 faces should be resolved by this.
A 5-inch TFT display with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, alloy wheels, dual-disc front brakes, and LED lighting are some of the major upgrades. The exact price has not yet been disclosed.
