In the Indian competitive mid-range motorcycle market, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Honda CB350 are the top choices. Both the motorcycles have an ideal combination of vintage looks and contemporary engineering for riders who are looking for performance as well as style. The following is a comparative analysis based on engine performance, specifications, features, and prices.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 comes with a 349.34 cc single-cylinder, air-oil cooled engine. This engine produces 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
 

In contrast, the Honda CB350 features a 350 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It produces 15.5 kW (approximately 20.8 bhp) at 5,500 rpm and a higher torque of 30 Nm at 3,000 rpm. Lastly, both models' engines are paired with the 5-speed gearbox. So it is clear that the CB350 engine has more power and torque than the Hunter 350.

The Hunter 350 has a fuel tank capacity of 13 litres with a fuel reserve of 2.6 litres. Additionally, the bike offers a mileage of approximately 36.2 kmpl. For comfort on bad roads, it has telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Furthermore, the bike is nimble to handle because of its 177 kg weight.
 

The Honda CB350, on the other hand, comes with a larger 15-litre fuel tank without any fuel reserve. And this bike delivers a mileage of around 35 kmpl. It is equipped with telescopic front suspension and twin hydraulic rear shock absorbers. The CB350 is a little bit heavier than the Hunter 350, with a kerb weight of 181 kg.

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 has a semi-digital instrument cluster that shows tripmeter, fuel level and clock information. It also includes a USB charging port and a tripper navigation pod in a recent update. Additionally, the bike has single-channel ABS, enhancing braking safety.
 

The Honda CB350 also has a semi-digital instrument console and a USB charging port. What makes it stand out is the smartphone's voice control system and dual-channel ABS. 
 

Pricing: Hunter 350 vs CB350

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is available in three variants, with prices ranging from Rs. 1.50 lakh to Rs. 1.82 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the Honda CB350 is available in 2 variants and priced at Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). Overall, CB350 is more expensive than the Hunter 350, and powerful performance could be the reason.
