Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 Now Compliant With OBD-2B

The Department of Transportation has released a new document that validates Royal Enfield's goals toward fuel emissions. The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 updated model is going to launch in India soon. This motorbike will have an engine that is OBD2B compatible, and we can expect its launch in upcoming weeks. Furthermore, the price may be higher than its current ex-showroom price. Check out the full details here.

Expected Launch Date, Price, and Rivals

Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350

A slight increase in the Goan Classic 350's current pricing is anticipated as a result of the OBD2B upgrade. Moreover, the bike currently comes in two different variants. Since the motorbike must meet the OBD-2B emission standards by April 1, 2025, its launch is anticipated to take place in the next few weeks. The Jawa Perak and Jawa 42 Bobber are in opposition to the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350.

Engine & Design

The 349cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that powers the Goan Classic 350 is the same as the Classic 350. After the OBD-2B complaint upgrade, it will produce 20.22PS, which is 0.26PS less than the previous 20.48PS.

The Classic 350 serves as the basis for the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350, a bobber. The design is improved by a small ape-hanger-style handlebar, forward-set footpegs, floating seat with integrated tail light and updated subframe. Also, This Royal Enfield bike has a larger rear fender connected to the swingarm, cross-spoked tubeless wheels with white wall tires, and four gorgeous colour options.

Specifications

The telescopic fork, dual shock absorbers, and disc brakes on both ends will probably be the same suspension and brakes as the previous version. It has a cross-spoked, tubeless wheel with white walls that is 19 inches in front and 16 inches in back. Additionally, the motorbike has 170mm of ground clearance and 750mm of seat height. Moreover, it weighs 197 kg kerb and has a 13-liter fuel tank.
