Royal Enfield Continental GT-R Spotted; Brand's First 750cc Motorcycle

Over the past few months, Royal Enfield has been testing a number of 750cc models. While some of the models are in advanced phases, others are still undergoing testing. A Royal Enfield Continental GT-R with dual disc brakes and café racer look has now been seen testing close to Chennai for the first time. With this engine, the company appears to be experimenting with an entirely new design. Given that the test bike doesn't appear to be ready for production just yet, it could take some time before it is unveiled at EICMA 2025 later this year. Take a look at the complete information.

What Spy Shot Reveals?

Royal Enfield Continental GT-R The spy photo reveals many interesting details about this new upcoming Royal Enfield bike. It has a café racer style with a full fairing that gives it a sporty look. Moreover, the riding position also feels sporty because of the clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs, which are clearly visible.
One of the main highlights is the twin disc brakes at the front that offer stronger stopping power to the more powerful engine. This new 750 cc engine is expected to make more power than the current 648 cc engine. For reference, the 648 cc engine makes 47 hp and 52 Nm. The new powertrain could make around 7 to 10 hp more. Additionally, the test mule has a twin exhaust setup, just like the current models.

Expected Features

The motorcycle is likely to see the addition of a few new features, maybe in terms of electronic rider aids. The test mule also showed a circular instrument console, similar to the ones seen on the Himalayan 450, Bear 650 and the Guerrilla 450.

What is particularly interesting? The test mule seems to get regular telescopic forks and twin shock absorbers with alloy wheels, which isn't exactly top-shelf. But that could change in the final production model.

Price Expectations

The current pricing range for Royal Enfield's 650cc bikes is between Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 4 lakh (ex-showroom). It is anticipated that this upcoming Royal Enfield 750cc motorcycle would cost a little more, maybe between Rs. 3.5 lakh and Rs. 4.10 lakh. This implies that there may be some pricing overlap with the current 650 cc range, providing consumers with additional choices within a comparable spending range.
