Kawasaki has launched the 2025 Ninja 500 in India at Rs. 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom). This is Rs. 5,000 more than the older model. The new model gets a fresh Metallic Carbon Gray colour. The bike looks sportier and more eye-catching due to this update. Let’s know more about this 500cc motorcycle in detail.
The Ninja 500 has a 451cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It produces 44.7hp @ 9,000rpm and 42.6Nm torque @ 6,000rpm. The six-speed gearbox ensures smooth power delivery. The design of the Ninja 500 is an evolution of the Ninja 400. It has twin LED headlights, bold fairings, and an upswept tail. The touch of Kawasaki Green on the side fairings adds a sporty feel. The new model looks more dynamic compared to the older, all-black version.
The bike has a negative LCD cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. You can see mobile notifications and riding logs. It also comes with dual-channel ABS and an assist and slipper clutch. However, it misses out on features like traction control and a quick shifter.
The Ninja 500 offers a comfortable ride with a 785mm seat height and a well-padded seat. It’s ready for city streets and sharp corners due to its high-tensile steel frame and smooth handling.
