Honda has launched the 2025 edition of its successful Dio scooter in India. The new variant complies with the OBD2B standards, thus making it a more eco-friendly vehicle. The STD model costs Rs. 74,930 and the DLX variant is available for Rs. 85,648 (ex-showroom). The new scooter is priced Rs. 1,500 higher than the previous version. Bookings for the 2025 Honda Dio are now open across India. Besides, deliveries are to start by the end of this month.
The 2025 Honda Dio comes with the same 110cc single-cylinder PGM-FI engine. It produces 5.85 kW of power and 9.03 Nm of torque. However, the power delivery is the same, but Honda has added an idling stop system to offer better fuel efficiency. Mileage figures are yet to be released.
The Dio will sport the same rugged design as earlier and retain a compact shape. It now tips the scale at 103 kg, so it is easy to handle. The company has announced five fresh new colours- Imperial Red Metallic, Mat Marvel Blue and more.
Honda has packed the new Dio with advanced features. It now has a 4.2-inch TFT digital display that shows important ride data. This includes distance-to-empty, trip meters, and an eco indicator. Additionally, there is a USB Type-C charging port for charging devices on the go. The DLX variant comes with alloy wheels and better graphics, adding to its appeal.
