Honda has launched the updated 2025 Dio 125 scooter in India. The starting price is Rs 96,749 (ex-showroom). This makes it Rs 8,798 more expensive than the older model. The scooter now comes with more features, new graphics, and updated tech. Moreover, it follows the latest OBD-2B emission rules. The Dio 125 will be sold in five attractive colours and two variants. Let’s take a closer look at what’s new in the 2025 Dio 125.
The 2025 Dio 125 uses the same 123.92cc, single-cylinder engine as before. However, it now meets the new OBD-2B emission norms. It makes 8.19 horsepower and 10.5 Nm of torque.
Honda has added a 4.2-inch TFT display to the Dio 125. This console shows trip details, mileage, and distance to empty. Moreover, it gives alerts for calls and messages. You can sync it with the Honda RoadSync app.
Furthermore, the scooter now has a USB Type-C charging port. The H-Smart variant offers a smart key with keyless start and security features. It also includes features like Smart Find and engine immobilizer. Both variants have a side-stand cut-off and CBS braking.
The new Dio 125 comes in five bold colour options, including Blue, Grey, Yellow, Black, and Red. The scooter also has sportier graphics for a fresh look. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels and offers a disc-drum brake setup. The DLX variant is priced at Rs 96,749. Meanwhile, the H-Smart variant costs Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Dio 125 competes with TVS Ntorq 125 and Suzuki Avenis 125. It also rivals Yamaha RayZR 125 and Hero Xoom 125. With better features and a new design, the Dio 125 is now more competitive. It is available at all Honda showrooms across India.
