Hero Vida V2 Gets Big Price Drop: What You Need to Know

If you are planning to buy an electric scooter, there’s good news waiting for you. Vida Electric Scooters, a sub-division of Hero MotoCorp, has reduced the prices of its models. The price cut is up to Rs 15,000 based on the variant. Moreover, the pro model gets a hike of Rs 4,700, which makes it a bit more expensive. Let’s check out in detail about each model and the discounts on it.

Discounts on Vida Lite and Plus Models

The Vida V2 electric scooter is available in three models—Lite, Plus, and Pro. The company has announced a big price cut for the Lite and Plus variants. The Vida V2 Lite now costs Rs 74,000 (ex-showroom). Earlier, it was priced at Rs 85,000, so this is a Rs 11,000 drop. The Vida V2 Plus also got cheaper and is now priced at Rs 82,800. These new prices make the scooters more budget-friendly for daily users.

Why did Hero Cut the Prices Now?

One big reason is the rising demand for electric scooters in India. More people are choosing electric over petrol because it saves money and helps the environment. Hero wants to stay ahead of its rivals like Ather, Ola, and TVS. These brands are already offering electric scooters at lower prices. To stay in the game, Hero had to take action.

Vida V2 Pro Price Increased

While the Lite and Plus variants became cheaper, the top-end Hero Vida V2 Pro got a price increase. It now costs Rs 1.20 lakh, which is Rs 4,700 more than before. This could be because of added features or better battery range. Even with the price hike, the Pro model still offers strong value for those who want more power and features.

Is it the Right Time to Buy?

Now is a good time to buy if you’ve been waiting for the right deal. The lower prices make the Vida V2 Lite and Plus great options. These scooters look stylish, offer smooth rides, and come with useful tech features. With Hero’s trusted name and the price cut, the Vida V2 becomes a smart choice for city travel.
In the end, Hero’s price cut is a smart step in a growing market. It helps the brand compete and gives customers more affordable green transport. This move could lead to more electric scooters on Indian roads soon.
